500 Minutes
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Internet

1 Month Rolling Contact

You have to phone them on 0800 032 8359 and ask them for the deal.

Really good for just £10 a month

Note: The internet is not "Unlimited" and is 500mb

Phone : 0800 032 8359

You have to take out 2 x £10 sims for this deal so £20 per month.

Agreed with Bully (above) and slightly perturbed as to why this deal hasn't been closed earlier, whilst being alerted.

just rang them on the number provided.

they say they do not do this deal - you need to buy 2 x sim cards that gets you 500 mins, unlimited texts and data - so 2 x £10 sims.

Hope that helps.
#9
its starting to feel a little cold in here...
#10
In that case, it is not a good deal overall then?
#11
re the buy 2 x sims for £10 each deal - I heard in another thread that if you just cancel 1 of them you still get the 500 mins unlimited texts and data in the 1 sim you have left...

not sure how this would work out however...

So, get 2. Cancel one the day it comes and keep the other. It'll add less than a quid a month to the overall cost over a year.

Yep, that's what I did a week or so ago - got two sims - cancelled one and *bingo* you have your £10 a month deal with one sim card (this is actually what the sales person told me to do!!).

It doesn't add anything as they simply credit the £10 (for the sim card you don't want) to your account.

I really do wish that mobile phone companies actually had to state exactly what you get for your money. This so called "unlimited" for texts and data is simply not true and I've no idea how they are legally allowed to say it's unlimited when it's clearly not.

It's not just tesco that does this - it's pretty much all mobile operators, with probably the exception of GiffGaff.
#16
Even at £15 it's a decent deal, but I agree about the widespread 'unlimited' subterfuge. A bit like my 24MB Broadband that peaks at 1.5MB.

Vodafone are doing 300 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb internet for £15 a month and £90 quidco cashback which equates to £7.50 a month.

Great deal also. I actually tried this deal a few weeks back but the vodafone reception was terrible where I live so I moved to tesco on the o2 network

You don't have a link to the quidco bit that states that this deal is still active do you?
#22
http://www.quidco.com/vodafone/

£90 for a 12 month SIM only (£15 tariff) (Quidco Exclusive)
#23
are you able to keep your existing number if you switch to this ?

I'm on the Tesco contract the texts limit per month is 3000 and the download limit is 500mb 1gb on iphone contracts

can you actually increase the "unlimited" internet to 1GB? by paying say a fiver a month or something?
#26
They've done this a few times. I have had this same 1 month contract since October~ last year, and got £10 Quidco on it so check that out too.
#27
Took this today after spotting it on another deal posted yesterday.. Wouldnt give me just 1 sim, but said it was available if i took 2 or more. My housemate and I needed to change so just took two.

This is from their website "We'll also be launching two, new, great value data bundles. You'll be able to get 500 megabytes of data for £5 a month or 1 gigabyte of data for £7.50 a month."

Do the quidco vf business sim same price but you get £100 quidco and a wifi allowance as well
#30
anyone know if I would get charged for crossing the 500mb (unlimited) data limit? It is highly unlikely but would just like to be aware of the consequences.

So if you haven't bought an iphone off them but just got a sim they give you an extra 500 for no explicable reason? I'm no geek but doesn't a decent Android phone use as much data as an iphone?
How do they justify that?
#38
What is the fair use policy on Unlimited minutes, texts and data?

If your tariff includes unlimited minutes and texts, the fair usage limit is 3000 mins and 3000 texts

For tariffs that include unlimited data, the fair use policy varies:

On iPhone tariffs, customers have a fair usage limit of 1Gb
Customers on any other Tesco Mobile tariff, non-iPhone, the fair use limit is 500Mb
#39
Shouldn't the OP edit this to specify this is only if you buy 2 sims?

Unless I am missing something the girl on the phone when I rang them said this deal does not apply to 1 sim plan orders...
