Right to get this price you need to buy £20.01 of other goods on this site then use the £50 off £200 code. WSAVE50. Or get this one for £10 more http://www.bargaincrazy.com/electrical/refurbished-computing/packard-bell-imedia-s-intel-celeron-desktop-in-black-14523

How about socks or anything else you need?

What you get is:

•This is a refurbished product and comes with our full 12 month guarantee. All products have been thoroughly tested for faults by Service Care who are an independent company that specialise in refurbishing electrical goods to “as new” or “graded” condition. In most cases products are simply unwanted customer returns so the box may appear damaged or may have been re-boxed in plain brown packaging. Some products may have slight blemishes to the casing but never to any screens and none of these will detract from the overall appearance of the product and is reflected in the great saving
•Compact and particularly attractive, the iMedia S fits into any home. Practical, made for everyday life and leisure computing, it is just what you need at an affordable price
•70% space saving compared to a traditional desktop PC
•Easy Media Access Easy-to-reach USB 2.0, audio jacks, and a Multi-in-1 card reader ports are located on the front of the case - at the bottom for quick and easy access
•HDMI connectivity allows you to easily connect the iMedia S to any compatible monitor or TV
•The matt black finish is not only distinctive but also protects the chassis from finger marks
•AMD E1-1200 Processor
•2Gb DDR3 RAM
•500Gb SATA Hard Drive
•Mouse and Keyboard included
•DVD/RW drive
•Integrated graphics
•USB 2.0, HDMI
•Microsoft Windows 8 Home Premium
•Packard Bell iMedia S - DT.U7JEK.001

Basically a new computer which some gran has sent back. Even got Windows 8.

Why so many posts on this thread from the OP?

Because Squillion is a good guy, who supports and stands by the deals he posts. You get some people here, mostly mods, who hit and run dozens of deals a day, never returning to any of the threads because they simply don't care. Squillion is the opposite of that, and that's a pretty healthy thing, I think.

New?

Excellent deal for a perfectly workable home machine for word processing, internet browsing etc. Personally I'd format the thing and give it a clean Windows 7 installation, not least because Packard Bell (certainly historically) are up there with HP in terms of preinstalled bloatware.

Certainly not to be sniffed at

I've had 2 PCs from BD now and they both arrived new, ie you would simply not understand they were refurbs.

Refurb implies they are like a secondhand car or something.

In fact they are generally just computers where some user has opened the box and sent it back unused.

My right to comment as a member of this site...I looked as if it was that price it would be a bargain but it isn't is it?

This is not a deal, you have to spend another £20.01 to get £50 off plus delivery charge of £3.95 that comes out at £150+ in my book. Straight forward deal at £129.99 this is a bargain but it is not £129.99 and no matter how you dress it up it never will be IMHO, it is a pathetic attempt at getting a deal.

WindowsHate.

I hate Windows too. I think it is malware.

I would like a WIndows PC though to play Silent Hunter 4 and Battle for Middle Earth. Of course, the fact that I have paid Microsoft about 6 times for Windows and have 3 boxes with COA stickers on them doesn't mean a thing because none of the recovery disks recognize the updated systems they came from.

The world bought his products because .... other pieces of software required Windows to run.
