ocz or scan, surely the warranty is manufactures after a period?
For the first 12 months at least, you should be pretty much covered by Scan and their customer service is a lot better nowadays (I believe it took a fair few court cases to get there - just like with ebuyer!)
Well worth this price as the zoostorm has finally shut up!

Mine broke and i sent it to the Netherlands as you say, however i used a courier service for around £12, and received a brand new replacement.
Have you ever been unlucky enough to use their sorry excuse of a customer service? try getting something replaced/repaired under warranty and be preapred for a long battle with these shysters.
First trick, deny it's anything to do with them, its your problem go speak with manufacturer - WRONG.
Second trick, finally agree they have a responsibilty, but refuse to replace or repair the item and offer a refund at a fraction of the original cost. £60 external HDD, offered me £34+vat. It's not just me, check out the horror stories of other failed customer service stories. Was very tempted to go to the small claims court, but they upped their offer after dozens of emails. Hassle not worth it, stick to Amazon.

Doesn't it depend on how long you have had the item? After four weeks you can't get a full refund according to the Sale of Goods Act.

Their nickname isn't Scam for nothing.
