I wouldn't buy meat and eggs at that price, but the rest sounds good.
#2
I'd be iffy about how much meat was in the sausages for that price.

Some good stuff there though.

Good find, voted hot.....but the SP Sausages are nasty lol, and the SP Tea Bags are awful....all other SP stuff is great. Always get SP Coffee Granules....sounds dodgy but it's a nice coffee and only 30 odd pence a jar.

Some of these deals are fantastic:

1kg loose bananas
1 Piel de Sapo melon
1kg new potatoes
250g cherry tomatoes
500g green seedless grapes

All of that fresh fruit/veg for just £2.50? I'm definitely dropping by on my way home from work. Wouldn't touch the mince or eggs with someone else's barge-pole, though.

Did you trawl a supermarket for 50p prices, or were they all together?

Because if they weren't that is one sad hobby.

Voted hot!

Its a cheap option for feeding doggies who have special diets.
#13
The bread and butter is awesome.... in fact it all is... shame asda's 30 minutes away :(
#14
50p for 500g of grapes....surely that beats tesco's prices...

Shame they dont do ASDA express, it will probably be the end of green grocers. Which in a way is good they dont. As I love my green grocer shops' different variety.

Good prices, especially at the moment.

I wouldnt advise any humans to eat the mince! My missus got some by mistake once (only eat ultra lean steak mince normally), and i said we are not eating it and did an experiment on it to see how much fat i could boil out of it, the result was absolutely DISGUSTING. I cant even describe how much came out of it it was a vile amount and left virtually no meat!

Excellent stuff.
I normally buy the super cheap frozen sausages, 20 for about 83p, but i might upgrade for a change to Asda fresh sausages at 50p a pop.
The smart price mince is fine too, just buy 2 packets and pour all the fat away :)

Voted hot, thanks.

This is the kind of price I like, i'm off to Asda now as I bought something reduced last night and its 10 days out of date!!! Do you think I will get anything for it ????

The quailty wont be brilliant but its not expensive luxury food- Asda will be making a loss on all these items-But it pulls the people in. People buy other things = asda make more money. Tesco and Adsa are entering a shoppin war. Just likeTesco and Sainsburys did a while ago. Adsa will win thou as walmart own them now. Walmart has such buying power they could bankrupt tesco by making a loss on all adsa items. They wont- but could.

Hi just been to my local asda SPONDON
Most deals in stock managed to get plenty of bananas,1punnet of grapes got the last punnet.
Plenty of the sausages left:)

No butter in stock:x:x
No melons in stock:x
No more grapes til tomorrow:x

Still a very good deal though
Thanks for posting

Walmart is big in the States but has to build its links with suppliers in Europe. Tesco has got much of Eastern Europe sewn up now.

Besides, there are regulations on loss leaders. If Asda tried to muscle Tesco out of the market by deliberately making an operating loss, the tax authorities would land on it like a ton of bricks.

Shock, BristolDeal thinks a supermarket deal is good :w00t:
