As title states, 50W Variable Temperature Solder Station.

A cheap price if you are looking for one.

I went and bought the last one at Maplins Boucher Road (Belfast).

The performance is adequate for hobby projects but be careful you don't hold the soldering iron at too low an angle when dabbing the sponge, you may end up melting some of the iron holder plastic.

You'll understand what I mean if you buy one.

Offer ends on 10/08/2010

I have this, and it's decent. Much better than the non-adjustable jobbies.

Got one of these and has done the jobs required, even managed to frazzle a finger knuckle quite deep last time I used it!

got one too - paid a lot more. Worth it at this price.

The stock tip is a bit wide, so budget for some extra finer tips, if you're doing anything below wiring a plug.

The site appears to be a bit bugged when trying to find the extra tips, so the best bet is to go the the accessories slider and select the ls20 kit there, you can't view it though so you'll just have to buy it based on the description in the soldering iron faqs.

Still seems to be working btw. Unexpire?
