I'm just looking for a new PCI-E x16 card, and as if by magic...

Can anyone comment on if these are any good? I mean for this price I'm not expecting the earth, but I currently have a nvidia 7300LE so anything is better than that... :)

Vista performance score anyone?

this is a great graphics card, and for this price you will be able to play all of the latest game releases due to its direct x 10 capabilities and 512mb memory. if u wish to play the latest games at max resolution then u would need to spend £100s for the 8800gt version, but this will please 95% of older graphics card users.

Apart from the "mistakes" and "problems" at the outset, if this is such a good card, why so cold? (sorry Mark, not taking the proverbial).

I'd love a decent PCI-E x16 for my new PC and this sounds reasonably decent for the price. Is this a good card voted cold because of the first posts or cold 'coz its a bit naff?
:?
