I was on the phone trying to get a retention deal... Ended up being cheaper with O2 Open. Basically, if your company is part of it, (easy to check), you get 25% off the tariff part. Fully expecting this to go ice cold, but for someone on O2 who's workplace is included, it's slightly less of a rip off.

P.s. I know you buy outright cause you're smart.

Because of the manufacturer alone this will go cold however the fact the deal is actually a good one should've overcome this fact but android users will continue to hate a good Apple deal

Ignore the haters this is actually a good deal. You can get slightly less with Vodafone which includes the Europe roaming and Spotify/Netflix/Sky sports using their VEA scheme (similar to o2 open) for those interested. Last time I checked it was £49 including £50 credit (which is the cost of the handset)

Your paying £630 (phone avail for £689) for airtime alone.

Of course its going to go cold.

Ah I thought this was for the 7 Plus; apologies a terrible oversight on my part. It's actually cheaper getting the phone on credit (only if you can't buy outright) from Apple and getting a sim only deal. Vodafone and 3 have decent 20gb SIMO deals at the moment.

Not quite, it doesn't have a mini jack.
