It's a shame it does not include Sky Sports.

Good price if thats what you want. But expect it to increase and expect to have problems when you want to leave, it seems to be the way Virgin Media work.

....for 12 months then £80pm.

Your not wrong. Would be the perfect package if it did!

It's included in the £85 package as is an additional box.

As is everybody's sky TV.. then it goes to £85 a month after 12 months. Ring up and renegotiate.

200mb broadband - except at peak times when it goes down to 1.5mb because their network is trash.

You might want HotUKComplainToVirginMedia and not HotUKDeals (_;)

On a serious note, must be you. I constantly get 130 to 150 down/10 up even in Peak times.

Me too, my 200 speed is fairly constant. My gripe with Virgin is the continuous 'new customer' offers which never get to existing customers. I shall be off at next renewal unless they can do better.

They take existing customers for granted, you have to phone them and negotiate a new deal at the end of your contract. It's the same with everyone these days unfortunately.
#13
Recently left them. Will probably go back after 18 months with Sky. Get the latest equipment twice & will save me around £1000 over 2-3 years. The upheaval is minimal especially once you have the connections installed.
Virgin really don't value existing customers so it's nice to get as much money as possible out of them with cashback & new customer deals.

Seems good to me. I pay £40+ a month for a base sky pack and the free copper broadband which is about 16mb where I am. Sky are also terrible for existing customers. Goes up every year and never give you anywhere near the deal newbies get.

Yep, "must be me".

And all the hundreds of other satisfied customers complaining on their forum about the pathetic speeds

It was for specific upgrading customers only.

When is this "peak time" of which you speak. Mine seems fine @16:47

No Virgin No Sky don't miss a damned thing but I do like having an extra holiday every year☀️☀️☀️

I dont think its possible to beat what I got from Virgin, £15 a month for Player Package/Tivo, 50mb broadband and weekend calls and a £50 credit to my account. This includes the line rental and broadband. Ive got Sky for my TV anyway but £15 is worth it just for the broadband and line rental.

Do you mind if I ask how you got this deal? Best I've been offered is 50mb broadband, player tv with free sky sports and movies to 3 months, and phone for £25p/m :(
