Popped down to local Ikea and found these tables in various colours. Picked up a few for around the house. They are cheap but once put together look very solid. Had my 3 year old stand on it for testing purposes ;)

For those interested in the nerdier side of furniture these also work great as server racks

Yeah as already mentioned this is the normal price.
I picked one of these up around 3 months ago, great table but you get what you pay for.

Don't give me any more ideas forest2002...that Lackrack looks great

Have a few of these dotted about - never had a problem with them and do exactly what they're suppose to :)
Not heavy so easy to pick up and move about the room (or even room to room) - construction is just a case of rotating the legs into place so can be done quickly with no tools needed. Found they're also good as bedside tables as well.

yeh not heavy, bit too light unlike our similar nicer looking furniture village coffee table which must weight about 50kg lol....good value though

I love the testing measure for this!

They throw these out at prices like this a fair bit but they are completely worth it. Hot from myself.

Why is that important? Normal or not, it's a good price.

I want some more of these but can't bring myself to visit Ikea. It takes hours!!!
#16
just warning for all those who have young child at home. these tables have very sharp corners so make sure you have some protection on corners..
#17

#18
awful? these are great, picked one up when they were £7. Hot

They are awesome, £5 standard price and they look good and are sturdy as hell, I've stood on them a couple of times (~75kg).

Even though it is at the normal price, got to vote it hot.

If anyone is looking for a side table....this is a "bargain", A bargain does not have to be something which is x% off rrp....it can be something which is cheap vs similar items.
#22
weren't these always £5??
#23
No...£6.99
#24
Yes this seems to be the standard price but they really are very good. One thing though is that the legs seem to come loose with moving about so I've put some woodglue twixt legs and top...... all fine.
