Seen this outside a store in Ealing Broadway, West London Yesterday For £40 So paying twice as much is madness. If it sells in west London for that i am sure you can get it for the same or less elsewhere.

are you sure you lot are talking about the same item its 5ft tall and move(dance)and sing.not a small 2-3ft.i live up north and know alot of cheap stores that sell christmas stuff and have never seen these this cheap anywhere but if you can prove me wrong with links then i will buy another at the prices you say they sell for.

just to add

alot of people where i live obviously think its a good deal
as its now sold out in nearly every store around me since i checked this morning
#14
Look! i know what i saw and it was the exact same as the OP. Even before this was posted i must admit i thought it was cheap. Can't post link as this was one of those shops that sell every thing from wash baskets to rugs to coffee tables and all sorts of kitsch stuff.

Just let it go Scotty, life's too short, move on. I have also posted stuff on here thinking "good deal" but have been pointed in the direction of a cheaper deal. That's exactly what the forum is for. Anyway, keep posting.

Merry Christmas

I'd rather save the money and put it towards christmas pressies, seems a right waste of money to me.

Most of the christmas stufff in Argos goes 75% on Boxing Day, we always get a few bits then as you can reserve it to collect instore.

I noticed this one then for around £19.49 ish, but dh wouldn't have it. I did get the huge train for about £18 and its back in again this year.

different! but would scare the hell out of my little one!

Unfortunately they didn't do it on the Santa's last time, I missed out on them in the previous year so I was hoping to get one cheap last year but they didn't reduce them.:x
