I bought 2 vanilla tubs of this the last time it was this price. Tastes awful, nothing like vanilla and very chalky. Doesn't mix well. Bloated me for a while.

A good price, but difficult to drink.
#3
myprotein is very good with very reasonable prices.
#4
i just eat chips and dont exercise..and look at me... ;)

on a less comical note, Myprotein are very competitivley priced for sports supplements.

myprotien is giving a 5lb pouch of whey protien isolate for £33.95.. This offer is for a 11lb tub of whey protien isolate for 39.99 + 8% quidco (36.79).. not very competitive IMO
#6
This stuff tastes like pish. IMO avoid.

That said, everyone has different tastes - my sister loves it, so I gave the last kilo to her. For 4kg I managed to force myself to drink it, after that i'd started gagging :(

Plus £4 delivery at myprotein.

I'm not sure why you think 5lb of isolate from myprotein is better than 11lbs of isolate from nutrisport (apart from nutrisport tastes rank LOL).

I dont think its better... I think Nutrisport is better... I use this and the 90+.. I know it doesnt taste all that but im pretty used to it and to be fair, I`ve had much horrible tasting shakes... Hows your keto going matt?

Don't buy this crap.

Cheap protein is not my favorite anymore, and have seen much better results with Reflex protein.

£30 - £35 per 2.25kg. - But it tastes bloody great and is the best I've had.

How?

Protein is protein.

This is rank stuff, but protein is protein. Only slightly better way of using whey is casin/isolate blend where you get slow and fast digesting proteins. But thats not comparing like with like :)

Overkill, your body won't use more than 1.75 grams/kg so unless you weigh 285 kg then you are wasting it.

Of course you are right

I'd love to see a study of your 'fact' please. Or a minimum amount for that matter too. Everyone is different and have different digestive systems. It'll be either a)used b)**** out c)converted to glucose via means of glucogensis.

Either way, protein base is covered. And being amino acids are building blocks of muscle, i'd rather waste some rather than not have enough.

OMGG!!! This is the BESSTTT!!! Id rather have this and know I'm makin something outta my work out. Come on you sissies, You gotta give some to gain some, and Ive noticed I bulk more with this Protein. And to the Guys (not Girls) that cant swallow this, GROW SOME. This is the BEST!!! Thanks LALDUDE!!!

Nah it isn't, cheap protein is cheap protein, pay a little extra, and you'll get better stuff, period. The end of the day, it's going into my body, and I don't want any old crap in my system anymore. I have read a few articles regarding protein, I'll try and find them, but if you can get the "decent" stuff (not the stupidly expensive stuff), get it.

Reflex dissolves instantly, tastes great, and I can honestly say I will not be buying the cheap stuff again.

This is cheap protein, it's ALWAYS ON OFFER, like how Soccer Sport is ALWAYS closing down.

My mate bought this from a health shop here, £20 for 1kilo of it, he can't even finish it.

But I'm with you on the Protein intake, more protein is always better than less, I try and eat as much protein as I can daily. If we didn't need protein then Surgeons wouldn't suggest it after operations etc. Protein is needed for your body to "fix" itself better.

thats some serious protein intake .. like ten meals a day with 50 gm protein each meal ... equivalent to 20 tins of tuna a day . you must be eating every 90 minutes or so . they say bodybuilding is 90% diet.happy eating ;-)

Carbs alone are just as good as protein supplements:

In fact, protein supplements do nothing

Quite easy actually - just make sure the meal contains 50-60g of protein then top up using milk or a shake for another 30g or so.

We are not told about the control groups in any way. Did they train before? What experience did they have? etc Most people gain muscle and lose fat the first time they start training properly in a good while. Those studies therefore mean nothing.

We need studies that show that on going for several years to show the results of the study and to ensure only carbs are taken in at an equal measure.

Furtheremore, people training for conditioning and look will tell you that carbs will bloat your skin and make you retain water. You will never look sharp on a carb only or heavy diet, far from it.

On top of that, bare in mind the hundreds of studues that show protein DOES increase anabolism.

According to this site you should take 1gram per pound of body weight. Too much can damage your liver. Don't shoot the messenger. :-D

The kidney/damage link was found in a survey by a womans magazine. I'll find the article if you want. But it neglected all other points important to control other influences. And it was a survey, not an study.

Why would the liver get involved with protein?

And LOL - that website is just trying to sell you stuff :)

The kidneys can get damaged if there is a lack of water being consumed.. I hope your drinking at least 5 litres of water a day.. Someone once told me to drink 1 litre of water per 100gms of protein. I take about 280-320gms of protein and drink about a litre of water with every meal and about 2 litres throughout the day... phew!

how often are you doing keto? Also have you ever tried protein deprivation?

What you mean like when people go out and have skinful of beers or the like? Hmmm.

As long as its spaced out over the course of the day, 4-5 litres is very easy to do. Course you **** like a race horse tho :whistling::-D
