Just after Xmas , I'm sure many people would have prefered to sell or sold most their items before Xmas.. Got one thing to list so will see if it is 5p instead of the standard 40p per listing!

This has traditionally been free, so less value than before! Ebay really will get themselves into red by their greediness.

It's actually 15p reduced to 5p. Direct link.

Haven't been on eBay for a while. Thanks for the tip. :-) Heat added.

They have increased their final value fee few months ago. You do save 10-15p on this listing discount but lose out on a much higher % on your final value. They also take away another chunk of your money via paypal!!! Ebay only concern about their profit!!! Shame on them!

I'm tiring of Ebays constant greed. It'll catch them out eventually.

....and as of the end of January you HAVE to list DVD's with free postage! So they get the fee on your postage as well

Thats the reason I dont use them anymore. It truly is a disgraceful company and far worse than the likes of Dixon, Tesco etc.

jesus, they are getting worse and worse! cant believe they are stinging the seller for the postage on dvds from end of jan. its definetely a buyers market on there!!!

Glad I've sold all my gear with nothing left to sell now :)

I sell all my old mountain biking gear on the forums now rather than on Ebay - it just cost too much to sell now. Having to sell DVDs with free postage is just the next step to sellers finding somewhere else like Amazon Marketplace.

As a regular Ebay user I normally hate them with a passion as a company, as previously posted, they are only concerned with profits.:x

However, i've actually had some good voucher offers off them recently. I got 20% off any item up to a max saving of £100, so bought a telly from Crampton and Moore for £450 and got £90 knocked off.:-D

I'm sure next time somebody ties to defraud me, or there is a NPB i'll soon forget though as Ebays inept resolution centre kicks in.

Thanks - heat added - I don't mind the fees as I always get rid of stuff I don't want anyway, so at least I am making a few bob.

Just look at what is happening to Ebays share price and profits. They have effectively destroyed themselves over the course of the last year with these lousy business decisions. I doubt they'll still be around in a years time.
