5p off per litre of fuel in Morrisons with a £40 instore spend.
Better than the Sainsburys deal.
Must use the voucher given at the till when you spend over £40.
Must also bring the ITEMISED receipt not the card receipt.
As an employee of a Morrisons petrol station (sorry...) I cannot exagerate this enough!!! So many people get it wrong everytime this is done.
I believe this starts on the 23rd so keep an eye out.
Not sure when it finishes. I will have a look tommorow and edit if needs be :)
Only up to 100 litres aswell.

Sainsburys are doing it aswell, prob £50 spend.

this is good, as morrisons normally the cheapest in my area...Sainsburys 4 or 5p more expensive...
#3
thx for the heads up
#4
No worries. Yeah i see where you are coming from whatsThePoint but for most people, a Morrisons is local, especially around my area, and the prices are the best. We got the promo pack through for it today so thought id give people a heads up.

Might sound like a stupid question but will vouchers only be given at Morrison's stores which have co-located petrol stations? I am likley to spend the £40 locally at my store with no station but not necessarily when I need the Diesel.

Hey gumboots, Im not sure to be honest. I will speak to my supervisor tommorow and see if he can shed any light. Cheers. :)

weekly usual shop (at usual local morissons) = £40
Wow THANK?S! Free Voucher for 5p off every litre of fuel
weekly fuel (might aswell fill up this tme) =£50.40p (45 [email protected] per litre)
SAVING 2.25+ 0.68p (morrisons miles card 675 points) =2.93
thats £50.40p -£2.93 = potentially £47.47 and dont forget cashback! oO

tbh these 5p off a litre things are a tasty little scam by the supermarkets lets face it to the average user it's £2 at most. Personally i'd like to see an HGV go and fill up and really spank the voucher PMSL

Hot and thx to the OP for posting Morrisons are always the cheapest here, no on site petrol station but they have a standalone one a mile from the store

Can you also get the usual Morrisons petrol reward points in combination with the 5p off voucher? If you can then it's well worth it.
#11
I don't know why people are whinging.
5p off a litre of fuel is 5p off a litre of fuel if you shop at morrisons anyway.
Accepted the average user is going to save £2-3 . But it's £2-3 for FREE if you shop in morrisons anyway.

If you don't like it send me your till receipts and vouchers please :)

Dont forget that Morrissons have a fuel saver card system, I got a £5 off my shopping voucher the other day (I do fill up alot at morrissons though) yesterday at my local petrol was £1.11 and diesel was £1.14

Thanks for the tip BUT as Honest John has said for years if you respect the engine of you car then supermarket petrol is not the tonic it needs. Keep your right foot off the floorboards and you will not need to go 'cheepo' again.

Morrisons aren't £5 better off. It won't be £5 profit. In that instance don't spend an extra £5. Unless it's something you will use (loo roll etc).

What if you write your car off on the way to Morrisons? How far do you want to go on this?

Its £2-3 for FREE if you shop at morrisons anyway and normally spend £40+ which I suspect most non single people would.

If you don't shop at morrisons, or normally spend £40 then maybe it's not for you.

whatsThePoint
Ok if your shopping in morrisons anyway, not worth making a special journey just to save £5 max

It takes 100 litres?
What are you driving? A TANK?oO

Someone posted a glitch this with a while ago, along the lines of:
- you buy a pack of chewing gum and then get £40 cashback in store. The cashier will then give you the voucher because you've 'spent' over £40. Does this really work?

We dont have a Morrisons near enough so by the time you have travelled to your nearest store that fiver would be have already been spent.
#19
you also have to have your receipt with you, as i found out when having two on me, giving one to someone filling up next to me.
does everyone keep there receipts from morrisons?
#20
No the cashback thing doesnt work it has to be an itemised receipt. Also yeah you can still use your Morrisons Miles Cards. Also, found out today it runs for 2 weeks as of the 23rd. Thanks for the heat guys. If you already shop at Morrisons you might aswell take your £2 - £3 for nothing eh? :)

How long are the petrol vouchers valid for? 14 days from purchase like Sainsburys?
