I can verify it is on as I got it in a Shell Driver Club newsletter e-mail from them today.
I went yesterday as per previous offer and in 2 shells they knew nothing about it :(

Wouldn't believe that, i read another article stating all the advantages to using a high octane fuel on a private car forum. Apprantly its better for the engine, never mind performance, it also claimed that it increased your mpg and since switching to V-power my mpg had risen from 29.8 to 32.1.
Taking the extra mpg it doesn't actually cost me too much more per tank and considering the money spent on cars which may require high octane fuel its not really a big deal the extra few quid per tank.
You pick up a Shell Driver's Club card from a Shell Petrol Station, then go to www.shellsmart.com to register it. You can then specify what rewards you want (fuel / shop vouchers etc.) which will come in your quarterly statement.
