same at sainsburys.

Shame that Tesco & Sainsburys have wacked the price of a litre over the £1.20 mark...
#3
totally agree with dazz, they only do these offers when they are ripping us off at the pumps. asda is only 1-2p a litre cheaper though. nice of em to do this offer but fuel should be cheaper than it is anyway.
#4
any idea when this expires? Looking to fill up 31st of the month for a 600 mile round trip so would save a few pennies..

If anyone has a £50+ receipt that they could send, that would be great

Deffo won't be on until 31st. As the OP said, usually on for 2 weeks
#6
Yeah it's on for just two weeks ;-)

Don't you mean 5p off fuel. 5p of fuel wouldn't be very much;-)

Thanks for posting anyway. Will make sure I get one of these

Asda is cheaper because Tesco give 2p back per pound spent in clubcard points

Don't you mean 5p off each litre of fuel, as 5p off fuel is the same as 5p of fuel
#10
They do this just to get you to order, then take off the offer without telling you and then do not give you a voucher. Happened to me quite a few times.

It should be 5p OFF each litre of fuel bought , and what your also saying it wrong as:

5p OF fuel is like 2 drops
5p OFF fuel is like spend £1.05 on fuel, get it for £1.00
#12
5p? is that all? Not really worth it unless you're spending that much anyway, and even then, you'll have to go into the shop thing to pay instead of using pay at pump which is the whole reason I get fuel from Tesco
#13
Just wait until they make another fuel cockup and break your car, then the 5p a litre you've saved won't seem such a bargain.

Thanks for clearing that up, I had my thimble sized jerry can ready to get my 5p of/off fuel.

it is usual for the offer to run for a week or two, but you then have 14 days to redeem the voucher, should get you to the end of the month

You can blame labour's increases in fuel duty over the years. Yet people still vote for them, madness!

yes can blame "biggot" brown and I didnt vote for his party! oil price now $80.51 a barrel, in the previous high it was $147! yet we now have higher petrol prices than then. yes you can say stirling is weaker but almost 50% weaker - i dont think so!

As for timmy saying tesco is more expensive than asda cos tesco gives you 2p in clubcard points, incorrect, tesco only gives singles points on fuel unless you fill up at a tesco express petrol station which 90% of people dont.
#17
remember clubcard points too 2points a pound

I blame "Sue".... she's the mastermind behind all of Labour's troubles. Luckily here in Scotland we can forgive here, but you nasty English folk obviously didn't, given the turnout for Labour in England...

If you're buying the groceries anyway then this is a good deal - Tesco is the cheapest in my area too and on the way to/from most places.......their 99RON (which I use all the time) is better than Shell/BP's alternatives too IMO.

Il say AGAIN its not double points on fuel unless if you go to a tesco express petrol station. which 90% of people dont.
1 point per £1 spent on fuel

Don't see how they can try that one. This was advertised all over the national press yesterday and defo said it was starting today.

Just spend a few pence in store, get £50 cashback and that way you get the 5p off fuel voucher too. :)

im afraid that wouldnt work as the voucher prints off with receipt on a £50 spend cashback is not a spend

Maybe you could ask customer services about it and ask them if they could still give you a voucher at a later date aslong as you bring the reciept in to confirm you spent £50
