5x 50w GU10 Halogen Bulbs for £4.50 Delivered @ Amazon / MemoryWizard

bugarssonbugarsson

A deal was posted on here way back for 20 GU10's for £8. It went hot and was deemed an attractive buy.

Comparitively, this is no really anywhere as good as the £8 deal - buy four packs to get the same 20 bulbs and it would be £18 - but it is still a great price considering that these bulbs can usually retail for about £1 to £2 a pop (works out at 90p - less a nectar point - a bulb).

Think OP may have confussed the link mid page as it states 10 x GU10 for £9.59

It is not really that difficult to confuse the OP really (_;) - my middle name is confused. I will amend the title to 5 from 10. But even for 5 it is still quite a good deal - well I bought a pack. Admittedly I did think I was geting 10, but ho hum.

Thanks OP, good deal & heat from me ... these are good quality bulbs and have a wide beam angle (40 degrees) ...many of the cheaper bulbs have much narrower beam angles

Yup, these drink electricity like an American sports car drinks petrol, much better alternatives on the market CCFL GU10's and LED SMD 5050 GU10's, yes more expensive but they last so much longer, you'll end up saving money in the long run going for some greener.

Plus I've had one of these old halogens shatter years ago because of the heat they generate, not good when you have kids in the house!

I've found good 6 watt LED GU10 bulbs. Admittedly one was about this price, but for my application, they will be saving money quickly. Also CCFL isn't so great for toilets, their lifespan decreases if they are kept on for less than 15 minutes at a time.

You need some magazines, or maybe a Sudoku machine.
