Foster’s Radler 2.0% is a refreshing mixed drink that combines 60 per cent citrus-flavoured soft drink with 40 per cent Foster’s lager. The most refreshing option of this summer's new drinks, the radler was developed especially to please Finnish taste buds. The beverage’s alcohol content is 2%. - See more at: http://www.hartwall.fi/en/hartwall/news/2013/fosters-radler-refreshing-mix-soft-drink-and-beer-0#sthash.VF7LmcAH.dpuf

I really think you better off not taking any alcohol in than drinking 2%, cant see the point :)

Not everyone drinks to get blotto!

2% is fine with me if it's nice.

Seem to think Home Bargains had these in a 4 pack at £2.00?
They also had the Carlsberg with lime in at the same price, alcohol content wasn't much more in these either?
Just in case you're closer to a HB and wanted to try some ;)

It's shandy, and is not supposed to compete with straight beer / lager.

Its just a shandy made with traditional lemonade. Very refreshing to be honest.

I dont really like 'proper' fosters its awful but this stuffs actually quite tasty and refreshing on a summers day if you just want a few without getting drunk .. Heat added

tastes like alcopop. foul
#15
First couple of sips are quite refreshing. After that though the taste becomes a bit alcopoppy (without the alcohol!)

as someone mentioned, this and that Carlsberg citrus both 4 for £2 at homebargains

worth a try I guess.
#19
Bit expensive considering it's only 2%, works out nearly £1.50 per litre, I'd rather get something like pepsi for 50p a litre.

Hate all these beers bringing out citrus lagers.

This stuff is awful. If you want a lemonade, get a lemonade. 2% beer/lemonade mix? One bloke got caught drinking this on a stag I went to recently. Got it ripped out of him all weekend.

Cold deal.

@OP

Sorry but I must protest this deal as is on the grounds of false advertising / misrepresentation

....says 6 in title but picture is of 9! I demand 3 more plus an extra 3 more as goodwill. Now that would be a "Hot Deal"!

Only joking! [Leaves room]

I do not like the taste of these, vile drink nothing like fosters.

I really like these, unlike that vile drink Fosters! ;)

Seriously though, these are just cloudy lemonade shandy. At 50p a bottle they are great, the alcohol content is irrelevant unless you only drink to get drunk. Got mine from HB.

50p a bottle is the standard price? I'm sure I've seen similar drinks in Supermarkets priced at 50p a bottle. ( 12 packs £6 etc.).

Ok, it's a bit of saving if you only want 4. :P

Not at all. Just don't see the point of lemonade beer. What next? Ribena beer? WKD Blue beer?

The point? Well shandies have been around for ages, people clearly like them, so gap in market = product.

I hate drinking beer in the summer heat, much rather have a shandy, wine spritzer, fruit cider or some Pimms.

"Citron Pressé"... If they're priced anything like the Elderflower Pressé my girlf quaffs then this is a far better deal!

It's like all things in life I suppose... Some will like it, some will not. Why do the people that don't like it feel the need to tell the Internetz.

Cold because it's not manly enough? Pathetic. It shocks me that there are still men so obsessed by machismo that they will "rip it out of" someone for a whole weekend for not drinking what THEY find to be acceptable. Even more pathetic.

To the OP, voted hot. I can't drink much alchohol for medical reasons, but I have greatly enjoyed some pints of lager shandy during this heatwave, with loads of ice and lemon slices in them. Just one third lager and two thirds lemonade. I made one for my (adult) son who loved it,saying how refreshing it was. And how refreshed I feel knowing my son isn't influenced by idiots like above.

Just buy a bottle of cloudy lemo it's cheaper and probably a lot nicer!!
#35

Don't let the haters wreck it for you its a pretty nice summer drink!

Bet that weekend was a hoot. Did the evening end in a fight? Must of done with all those 'hard' men drinking full fat 3.5% lager all night. (_;)
