Well for a start the halfords one is only 5 foot and this one is 6. I would say getting the bigger one is worth it if you have the space, if not get the smaller one.

This may be a silly question, but is it slate bedded? or is that to much to ask?

very tempting, got the room in my student flat... only problem being when I finish uni I live 200 miles away, goddamn
#23
Yeah there's no space in our flat but we've just bought it. Just have to get a piece of wood and double it up as a table
#24
Anyone know the cheapest item argos sells ?

99p is the cheapest I have seen so far.

Cheers, Des.

I bought one of these a few years ago, for the price it's a bargain comes with balls, cues, triangle, chalk and a little brush to keep the cloth clean. Once the novelty had worn off tho, I was a little disappointed, cushions can be unresponsive and the balls are small when compared to pub tables. It's great for kids but adults will find it a bit small.

Also home assembly is a doodle, took about 20mins on my own

Ta...just ordered with some batteries to save the delivery charge  Please , let no-one say it doesn't need batteries......

Best thing to get is the large de-icer can:

Holts De-Icer Aerosol Can - 600ml, 740/3332

Costs £1.19, but still in stock for home delivery. Brings it over £50, and is actually useful for the winter as opposed to a 99p item which will go in the bin! :)

Here's the link to it:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7403332/Trail/searchtext%3EDE-ICER.htm

All in, it will be £51.18 with free delivery :)

For this price, i very much doubt it....

If it does, then i will find room for this... :-D i was thinking of getting one of these which flips round , so you have a normal dining table on one side and the pool table on the other.. neat idea, but they are expensive
