Great magazine, Crap movie.

No way! Green Lantern looks awesome - saw some exclusive footage at a comic convention (yes, because I'm that cool :p) and I can't wait.

Plus Ryan Renolds is a bit of a hottie! Heat added for that reason alone! :D

Unless you meant the animation that comes as the blu ray, then I saw the whole thing at the super cool comic convention and I liked it :)

Do you not agree that Ryan Renolds is a bit of a hottie too? :p

just had a look at Topcashback, empire mag is coming under 'Great Magazines' and giving £6.06 for order over £5. hence its costing £14. Am i correct?

The minimum term is 12 issues. We reserve the right to replace the gift with one of equal or higher value in the event of excessive demand. Please allow up to 28 working days for delivery of your gift.

what happens after the first 6? can we cancel or does the sub go up to RRP for the remaining 6?

See, I really like Ryan Reynolds right now (in a totally non-sexual manly way) and The GReen Lantern has to be one of the better comic book super heroes.. Buttttt, I really liked Ben Afleck until he was DareDevil.. I mean, he did okay with what he had to work with, but it was still a bit mediocre..

Get David Hayter involved, I say.. Any man that can voice Solid Snake, play The Guyver, Produce the X-Men then write an improved treatment of Watchmen is an absolute legend in my book.. Is there anything this guy can't do well?

Sorry my mistake, was thinking of Green Hornet :D

I seem to recall that this appeared in previous subscription deals.

You will receive the goods and 6 issues for £19.99 - once the cash has been taken from you just cancel the direct debit online.

I remember someone saying on here a year or so ago that they telephoned Great Magazine regarding this and they confirmed that you get the deal with the 6 issues and not a commitment to 12.

The site does show the free gifts being available for the 6 issues at £19.99 so I dont there is any infringement at all.

Haha - no worries.

I see your avatar has a facepalm as a result :)

Love this mag. Empire, BBC Focus and FHM keep me occupied every month. :)
#13
Hmm...

I emailed them to check about the 12 month term and they advised that "the subscription would be ongoing until cancelled by yourself or your bank with ongoing payments of £19.99 being taken six monthly covering six issues each with a minimum term of 12 months."

So sounds like its £39.98 for 12 issues, plus the freebies?

Has this ended now?
Can't seem to find this deal.
Thanks

I finally received my Green Lantern Pack today. The poster is a bit on the small side, it's about the same size as one of those pull out posters in a kid's comic! Oh well, my son will like it!
The T Shirt is in a medium size, it's nice but it's a shame it doesn't fit me!
Never mind, at least the blu ray and graphic novel will be good.

Yeh Tshirt is a medium and poster is small but like Darren73 my son likes them so not bothered tho he did take my graphic novel as well lol

Yep. My son claimed my graphic novel and also the blu-ray!!! Blu ray was excellent. Although, I was not impressed with the one bit of swearing on it. I have to mute the sound on that bit when my son watches it!!!
