Not a fan of the 'chasse aux oies' so please do not make a special trip - just keep an eye in your local store.

These were in the frozen vegetarian section at Asda Llansamlet, Swansea, yellow SEL reduced from £1.50 to 38p. I resisted the urge to take the lot as I had a full basket.

Lincolnshire sausages don't have a protected geographical indication on them like Melton Mowbray pork pies or Cornish pastys do, they can be made anywhere.

Because they probably have the same herbs, spices etc used in Lincolnshire sausages. I think anything can be in Lincolnshire sausages but if they were "Lincolnshire pork sausages" then there has to be a minimum % pork content.

" Meat Free " , what do you get ? An empty box ? Or a pile of sawdust and cardboard ? Or even worse " Quorn " !
