From my home airport to Barcelona it states " from £10 per person " , in reality it came out at £414 for 4 of us !!

Just read this deal and it is a good one, so long as you don't have children of school age. It is so unfair that all travel companies push prices sky high during school holidays and this just proves beyond any reasonable doubt that this is the case. Nobody can deny that this is out and out discrimination against parents with school age kids.
Especially if you go to my school where they have decided to ban all holiday applications during term time if you cannot give a very very good explanation as to why the holiday cannot be taken during school holidays. And cost is not accepted as an excuse.:x

Voted hot, by the way, for those of you who can take advantage.

Voted cold. Only because it's meaningless how Ryanair divide the cost of a ticket beteween ticket price, taxes and charges. They fictionalise the lot. Personally I think there should be a rule on hotukdeals against advertising for them when they're using such underhanded marketing schemes. No offence Edi :)

Also voted cold.
The flight I catch quite regularly usually costs 1p with about £10-£15 tax/charges.

So with this offer I'm only saving 1p!?

Not that great a deal you can still get a lot of flights for 1p + taxes at anytime with ryanair.
They did do a couple of really good deals earlier this year when the flights were totally free including taxes. Went to Dublin for nothing in June. Will vote this deal cold I'm afraid.

Yes, I must agree. Ryanair have reinvented the rules of fiction! I'm very happy that Easjet now show prices incl. of fees and taxes and that they reflect the actual taxes. Unless you get one of the Ryanair deals that includes all fees and taxes (such as the recent £10 deals, or the even better 1p deals!) then you are just setting yourself up for disappointment at checkout... voted cold for same reasons.

EDIT: Whoops! I spoke to soon - these deals include fares include taxes, fees & charges. Sorry edi - I voted too soon. can you reverse it?!

well is it just me or has anyone found a flight yet that doest get taxes added on when you click continue? or has anyone found a free flight. I normally get at least one???

To get the cheapest flights, use the "Find Lowest Fares" link on the left hand side under the "My Flight" banner. This enables you to put your destination and a date range, which when submitted comes back with all the fares for each day in the range.

Look for the dates with 1p WEB fares, these are the "free" seats as you only pay the £10 government tax. Any REGULAR fare includes the £10 government tax as well as £7.80's worth of other charges. So a 1p regular fare costs £17.81 as opposed to £10 for a web fare seat.

Hope this makes sense :?
