This is an amazing deal, as mentioned in the OP you can receive a free copy of GRAW 2, which i've found the lowest price to be £22.99 on this and on top of that, you'll receive 6 issues of FHM Magazine delivered to your door for £17 in total + 8% Quidco.

The Subscription is via direct debit for a 1 year term but you can cancel your second payment and you won't be bothered again, which i've read of many cases on other forums without any comebacks.

Hope that helps, as this is a great deal, meaning you'll get a £23 game and about £20 of magazines for £17 and even less after Quidco.

Of course if you like the mag and want to continue receiving it, you can pay the second half of the subscription and keep it but i've posted the best possible value method in the OP. :)

Direct Debit minimum subscription term is 12 months. Offer closes 31/07/07. We reserve the right to replace the free gift, up to the gift limit of 1000. Allow 28 days for delivery.
** Direct Debit purchases have to be bought individually and minimum subscription term is 12 months.

It seems as though by obtaining the free gift you are forced to pay for the full 12 months - can you be more specific on how and when to cancel paying only 6 months?

It is supposed to be for 12 months as you've mentioned but according to other forums i've read in the past regarding this, if you contact your bank and cancel the direct debit to Great Magazines, they just leave it at that and there'll be no further contact.

I was on holiday last week, so i didn't get to see it but obviously it wasn't mentioned that you could cancel the direct debit before the 6 months is up, so it works out as a better deal at £17 with 6 months of the mag and you still get the game and they don't ask for the gift back.

Tell me about it :-D . I still think it is a good deal if you read FHM.

In the T&C's it does not state:
that you could cancel the direct debit before the 6 months is up, so it works out as a better deal at £17 with 6 months of the mag and you still get the game and they don't ask for the gift back

That is why I did not mention it as it kinda violates the T&C's and it is not certain that you would get to keep the game or worse you could be tied into another 6 months etc etc.

Brill deal.

Good deal indeed - even if you go for the Cheque/cash payment option it's still only £36 for 12 issues before Quidco.

Especially good for me as I was looking to get the game.

They don't request the free gift back, i urge you to do some research and you'll see, as i read about this months ago and many people have previously done this without any further contact asking for the remaining 6 months, they just don't send the 2nd half of the years mags since you haven't paid for it.

I think also that after 6 months you'd be finished with the game :)
Unless of course you get absolutely hooked on the multiplayer.
