Just got back from Adsa in Smethwick, found 6 packs of Walkers crisps the world cup special ones only 25p each, still LOTS of them in store. Hurry!!!

Checked online it's still shows 50p so i think it's instore only deal.

Not sure if it's nation wide, but worth to check if you are going to your local ADSA :)

They don't become inedible on the 13th June though.

Not inedible but ILLEGAL!

Theres a FIFA ruling (19 B) stating that you are only allowed to eat your nations crisp for the duration of the tournament or Gary Lineker will come round and smile at you until the Jules Rimet is lifted in July

Bought these yesterday in a few varieties for 50p(with a decent date on them).
Got a selection of flavours and even 'son who eats everything' doesnt like some of them - bbq kangaroos from Australia are the worst apparently. Daughter didnt like American cheeseburger either.

don't hold your breath....brazil won the jules rimet trophy outright in 1970!

tried these gimmicky crisps. can vouch that the 'flavours' are truly awful. the 'paella' in particular left a bad taste!! i don't think they were edible from the off!!! still, for 25p.....

it has nothing to do with whether they are edible....legally the shop has to sell it by then as the manufacturer cant guarantee ahem "freshness"

and you're confusing use by and best before. It is illegal to sell after a use by date but NOT a best before date

Ha!
They're inedible from the start! lol

+1, as long as they highlight the fact that the date is close/ expired they are not breaking the law, its in the name "BEST before". I've had chocolate thats gone 2yrs after the best before and it was a bit white (milk had separated) but tasted just fine.

There as retailers specialising on expired best before produce and they are making a killing. HOWEVER, these crisps as people have said are gross in date so can only get better IMHO :p
#18
anyone actually found them for 25p other than this store?
#19
****** paid 50p for them yesterday on Middlebrook
#20
good price. rank flavours tho :-( 'garlic bread' was the worst
#21
50p at mine
#22
Yeah i got a pack last night from Owlcotes Pudsey Asda and they were 50p for 6 bags? All the flavours though :)
#23
Cannot believe this is 400 degrees + and no one else has found any so must have been store specific.
Never ceases to amaze me
