There is a well-known superstition that it's bad luck to give knives as a gift!!! :?

Thanks op, gone for this, great price, and decent enough knives for a fiver

Way better than the Jean-Patrique efforts :x

Also went for the 5x stainless steel pan set for £20. My lass has them, and they really feel like great quality pans. Certainly no complains for £20.

Heat given.

Not quite as good a deal, but looks nicer...

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-6962.aspx (they've just been reduced to this price - even at the £16.00 price they were reduced)

there's a fiver off voucher kicking around on the forum too.

Don't get too worried if you miss out on these. They are awful plastic handled, cheap blades.

They are probably fine for teen gang use but useless for cooking:p
