It's fine as a deal in its own right.

So does that mean we can all go and post every deal from the original OP's post then and take credit for them all???

If there is a "stand out" offer then yes.

What if someone posted a Play.com 70% sale and you went into the sale and found a 32" LG TV for £100. Would you post it as a deal?

In those specific circumstances then yes I would as the OP has just said there is a 70% sale, however in the OP post in question the OP has listed the Pepsi offer in the first post under his listing whic refers people to it.
Therefore if someone had done this in your Play.com 70% sale example but also mentioning the TV, no I wouldn't post a seperate deal.

Yuck Pepsi:p

Haven't voted cold though as it does seem a hot deal for those who like to buy inferior brands like, Pepsi, Rola, Virgin:giggle:

Come on folks, whilst this may be a decent price, it's hardly what you'd call a hot deal is it? More like a run of the mill supermarket offer and not really what this forum is/was/should be about really is it?

I very much doubt that there's ever been a time in recent history when one has not been able to pick up a six pack of soft drink cans for somewhere in the region of between £1 to £1.50 in a supermarket has there? The offer never goes away they just vary it around the different brands / flavours every few weeks that's all.

It wasn't too long ago when we had a supermarket only thread for these kind of basic offers that stopped them from clogging up the rest of the forum. Seems much more sense to me.

I'm going to abstain from voting on this one.

If you guys go to Home Bargains you might find that there are some there at a good price.

10p a can for all Pepsi's at my one in Harborne High Street, Birmingham. I got 48 of them babies!
#11
Good Deal!! heat added. x
#12
Slightly hotter in my local Sainsburys (Banbury) where this offer included 6 + 2 free packs as well...

They are cheaper at Home Bargains, but there's a hell of a lot more Sainsburys around the country!

That's really good as they're normally about 25p or something in H&B's.

Yes morrisons have the promotional packs of 6 + 2 for £1.96.

To add - I think although this is a common price to pay from one of the retailers it is an important deal when some retailers are charging between £1.99 and £2.50 per pack of 6 cans. It's a deal when you can go across the street and avoid prices like £1.99 - £2.50 and only pay approx £1.00-1.50.

Who is with me on this one?

Heat added, I wouldn't have seen this if not for this thread, so thanks to poster on it.

I drink cans of drink at work, 19p a can is a lot better than buying from the local shop at 60p a time, or the 40p/can as the normal 6pack prices.

I think it's disgusting when you see some supermarkets charge upto £2.50 for a six pack of cans and it's very annoying to think that there's so many idiots out there who let them get away with it - the type of people who just throw stuff into their trolleys without bothering to check prices are the ones that allow these kind of rip offs to continue. If more people voted with their feet then they would have to charge reasonable prices.

heat and rep added, thanks for this deal don't worry about all the other moaners

cheers
#19
12 packs of thes are £1.95 all the time in Netto so voted cold
#20
yeah, ignore the moaners, this is useful info for me.

Our vending machine is 50p/can, I have tescos/asda/sansburys quite near... so I buy upto 100 cans per month and sell them for cost to everyone in my department ('cos I'm such a nice guy)... sometimes as low 18p, it's saving us a fortune.
