Worth it for the refreshments alone lol. Not a bad offer, ok the pull in is that you have to pay for extra prints (however there is no obligation), but you get an hour long photoshoot + an 8*6 print of your choice mounted along with the refreshments (take the whole family lol) for £10 and there is no obligation to buy further prints.
With endless ideas for fun, relaxed photographs, as well as toys and props, the studio takes pride in creating high quality prints and memories to adorn any mantelpiece. Groupon holders can enjoy refreshments and cupcakes during an hour long photo shoot for up to 12 people, followed up with a viewing session. Choose favourite pictures from the shoot and select an image for your mounted 8"x6"print. Extra prints are available from the studio from £20.

Loads of pressure selling on these sort of deals, what's the point of having an hour of photos and then only choose one.

Just bear in mind that more than likely you will spend more money :)

i agree, 2 years ago i went for something similar, ended up parting with more than a grand as it was so difficult to choose the single photo

For anybody who wants some professional family photo's taken, I'd recommend seeking out a local independent photographer, with good word-of-mouth. They should be more honest and up front about likely costs, and will generally be a better photographer. I used to work in a chain of family photographers, and they'd prefer to employ salespeople who can take snapshots than photographers who can sell photo's, if you catch my drift. Our sessions only cost £5, but we managed to maintain an average of £120 sales per session. I don't think you'll see the £20 booking deposit again. The company I worked for employed a strict no refund policy. Caused such a headache at times.

I'd personally stay well away from photography chains, as they are heavily overpriced and underskilled. The offer is a bait, with the intention of a heavily pressurised sale.
