Excellent, thanks.

Forgot to mention that this is also dual USB output (charge 2 devices together or use High Output 2.1a output for fast charge.

I saw mention in a review somewhere that the Moonstone will also retain it's charge for up to 6 months once charged as well. Pretty handy

Some reviews...

This will charge an iPhone 5s (1570mah) 4 times over with a full charge.
Same for 5c (1507mah).

Samsung note 3, 1.9x over (3200mah).

Just to give people a rough idea of 5 be usage of the portable battery.

I got a 5400mah one from the other year. I use it once in a blue moon, but it really does help. I paid £25 for mine, so this one above is a decent buy for price.

Think for a little more you can get away with a 10,000mah in the range of £22+.

I agree the 10,000mah ones do give a little more useful juice but at the expense of portability. this one seems a nice convenient weight/size to drop in a bag if you are going away for a weekend or something.

Also i believe that most of the other devices on the market use more volatile Lithium Ion batteries whereas this devices uses stable Lithium Polymer batteries which do cost more to produce but I'd feel happier about when it's plugged in charging as my family sleeps :-)

They will be good for charging the phone to show it powers up and thus not suspect, but what about the power bank itself?
I generally ensure that phone and iPad are fully charged before departing, similarly with the Powerbanks.
I haven't had to use them in anger yet but have noticed the smaller one loses power over a week or so and since it has no indicator, it's usefulness is a bit chancy if not charged in the last couple of days!
The larger one has four LED's to indicate level of charge, plus it seems to hold for at least a couple of weeks.

I have noticed though that the plug sockets at most Airports seem to be available...cheeky I know but better than having your phone or tablet confiscated. I believe they are then posted to your home, ....hope they are well packed and insured! oO

It is early days to comment on the scope of this new chapter in security theatre. As the policy is still not clear on where it is applicable, rechargeable packs or power banks of this type might get confiscated too.
Agreed, but reason will probably prevail, and if a powerbank can be demonstrated to function correctly, it's unlikely to be siezed.

Like the design. It's good to know that it uses li-po battery. Thanks OP.

Strange site HUKD sometimes...

I posted a deal for a lovely quality 6000mAh powerbank yesterday for just a few ££ more and it saw hardly any heat. Although i don't suppose it has a torch like this one does.

Thanks Uridium, just tried again and it worked :)
Perhaps the discount doesn't work for the black model which is what I selected first.
Ahh, just seen a comment about it only working for the colour green.
That'll be why then.

Sorry yes the code only seems to work on the green one for some reason. Mine arrived today and although I haven't had time to test it in anger I'm very impressed by the look/feel of the device. really nice quality, way better than those ebay cheapies that people like throw into these power bank threads.

The thought of leaving some of the cheap powerbanks charging up when I'm not around always concerns me.

Yes, after reading a few reviews this does look a nice bit of kit and the extra port sold it to me over the Anker which was tempting me on the other thread. Nice presentation as well with the wallet etc.

Good spot :)

Nothing is getting confiscated. You just cannot travel with it in hand baggage. You will be told that you can dispose of the item, put it in hold luggage or arrange yourself to post it back to yourself at your risk and your packaging. There are some companies that arrange this at airports but not many. If you do not agree then you will not pass security checks and be denied boarding. Just keep a charger handy - always a plug somewhere in the search areas.

Hot from me. Looks a nice product, looks like a new brand trying to start up rather than cheap unbranded Chinese product - plus interested in the LiPo side of this compared to Li-ion. Any views on performance? The efficiency of these seems to be (quoting) higher than li-ion

Same here, very impressed with the quality and presentation. Turned up with a charge of 3 leds showing.
Used it on my Note 1 which had dropped from 100% this morning to 41% early afternoon and it had it up to 100% by 16:00.
My daughters are angling for pink ones now for their Iphones.

Didn't get my eight free gifts though. Should I take it further? (_;)

Duh.
Different shape for a start plus I think the price will give you a clue :)

Used mine to recharge my G2 and my wife's xperia sp this week while on holiday. Was powerful enough to charge my G2 while using it as Satnav with no car charger handy and kept my G2 running. Great piece of kit. Get one at this price while you can add I believe the discount code runs out this weekend.

Yup, a few days in with mine and very happy. My daughters gone and bought a white one based on how impressed she was with mine.
Smart phone satnavs devour the juice don't they??

Thanks OP, ordered one myself, but didn't get the gift pack. Asked Lepow why, the customer service explained that they had run out of gifts. For those who want the gifts, you might not receive it. Yet it is still a good price for this great power bank. Love the apple green.

I think the gifts were sent out with press pack promotional kits for review.
