Based on a cutting-edge new architecture, Vertex 2 (Extended) Solid State Drives raise the bar once again and deliver unprecedented performance for the complete gamut of gaming and professional multimedia applications. great drive, good price, hot
A write speed that high on a SSD for that price? Scorcher!!!
Great drive, decent price, it was similar price to this on today only previously though
Easily the best SSD in this price range at the moment.
Really tempted but my c drive is already full @ 75gb... I suppose i could re-arrange some system folders to another drive.

Any other decent drives with around 80-100GB for around £100.

Hi, that's pretty normal but these SSDs are mainly for storing the OS, and your most used programs.

For stuff like games\backup you should use another drive :)

If you don't store any games at all on it and use a secondary drive for that it would be very difficult to fill this up :)
Thx for the reply robo but i dont have any games and all my movies pics and tunes are already on another drive. Even my pagefile is, i do have many programs which i use for work installed. I think i'll wait a few months and hopefully larger ssd's will be cheaper.
Ordered! - I downloaded a program called Tree Size which lists the folders on your drive in order by size. I had 27GB of temp files and cache crap!

Thanks for posting this, nothing but good reviews. Ive never had an SSD, am very excited lol
