The direct add to basket link is here

It is under storage. Full name:
"640GB Dane-Elec SoMobile+ SO-MB4640 USB2 2.5" External HDD Bus Powered PC/MAC"

If the above link does't work, go here and look under STORAGE

trust me it's not iffy, Loads of people on here have used Scan.co.uk

I used it for the first time when I ordered this, and used the free AVforum delivery as I have been a member of the forum for a year or so. Anyway, I received it the next day, very well packaged.

The drive that is inside mine is here. Reviews mention is being compatiable with the PS3, as does the title, but I can't say for sure obviously

I know, go here and look under STORAGE
You MUST click on the green "BUY" button to get it for this price. If you go through their search, it will come up at full price!

STORAGE is under the heading "SUPER SAVERS", so u need to scroll down a bit after clicking the link. This link takes u to the "Today's deals", and there's a massive list, u need to click on "BUY" from this page and it will be added to ur basket.

Used Scan for the first time last weekend. Fantastic free delivery service through AV Forums. Ordered Sunday, came Tuesday morning (and this order included a very large TV stand). Even got a text on the day stating what time it would be delivered within a timescale of an hour, as opposed to the usual 'between 9-6'.

Recommended! Will be using again.

No it won't. It doesn't expire until Monday at around 1-2pm. Friday Supersavers are on all weekend from Friday lunchtime til Monday lunchtime.

I used them for the first time on Tuesday and got delivery on Wednesday which was free via AVForums.

I would also highly recommend them!

its pretty simple.

Thanks, I just ordered one for my Spiderbox for HD recording. I was going to settle for a 400gb for a few quid less.
#36
good price, average HDD, not a great brand for a case. the HDD @5400 rpm isn't too fast.

Most people aren't too fussed about the speed. The HDD has fantastic reviews (5 STAR average on Amazon) and the case works, what else do u need!

For geeks or hardcore techies, this is probably amateur stuff, but for the average person, it's fine and it's cheaper than buying the internal HD on its own.

Letting you all know, that this drive is compatible with the ps3, brought one during the week, from Scan when it was on deal of the day.
It is the same one as posted by the OP, and build quality, transfer speed, all seem good.

I also got the free delivery from being a member of Avforum.com, and Scan's delivery was excellent.

I think they were asking how to open the enclosure. ie. Is it screwed together or clipped,
