Don't know how long it will be before apple finds this and puts a stop to this though, they deliberately excluded the iPad on other voucher codes, must be a mistake!

Lol, you're just going to start an argument now. Same thing happens every time a deal on an Apple product is posted. -_-
#4
Yeah but for the product its a good price.
You never get discounted apple products.
cheapest price on the net, thought i'd share

this is a big ipod touch..

Gotta say, that is a very good price for this item but tempted as I am, I am holding out for gen 2 which I hope will have USB and a camera; I don't mind having to buy an adapter to connect to a external display but having to choose between a that and a memory stick is plain dumb.

#8

Why is this being voted cold? Just because its an expensive product?
It's a good deal! A clear saving of £40 plus
#11
voted hot, but dont think wud recover from cold voters out there!
#12
Hot deal.

I bought the 32Gb one with no 3G on release and it is an excellent device that gets used daily. In fact I plan on getting the 2nd gen next April. I don't need 3G or more than 32Gb though.
#13
that's a lot of money for f*** all memory.
be OK if they slapped 500gb in there, but 64? pfft
#14
come on people....
people are not that anti-apple after all! look at iPhone deals...they get scorching hot...

a good deal gets hot...a rubbish one gets the finger :)
#15
Hot from me. You've done well to get a discounton it. I was planning to get a 64GB iPad until I went to the dentists today and was told I need a crown - £525.
#16
It may be a good price for Apple but don't they make
you pay for their products?
#17
agree with mr. 32gb. I too got the 32gb non-3g on launch and love it. Even my wife likes pinching it off me, and she normally just declares me a sad geek.

note: if you have the iphone, JB it and buy MyWi which lets you share data with the pad. that way you dont pay for a data package twice :-)
#18
PC's which are years old still own this piece of garbage.
#19
simpson boy... you just don't get it do you...

Its just a toy! a damn good one, but just a toy. its not really a PC. most likely if you dont get it, you prob cant afford it.
#20
Sorry to hear about all these muggings (Apple are good at that). What is the world coming to? LOL

The common factor is not Apple but poor value for money. :-)

Case in point: there have been some hot Apple deals recently.
#22
much as i think this is terrible value for money, if it's the lowest price for this product, it should be warm.. not very hot, because it's still £650 for a tablet computer on which you are then expected to buy/rent much content, but probably warm.

Brilliant product, sadly doesn't live up to its potential as is the Apple way, they give you ALMOST what you want so you end up buying the next one to get a little more of what you want (but again not quite enough so they can sell the NEXT one again, and again, and again)

I think one of the main reason's its not hot is PRICE, this is a very expensive bit of kit and quite rightly is not good value for money, the screen quality as amazing as it is, sadly the device doesn't scream 600+ quid, in fact you can get netbooks/laptops with touch screen's for less (and will be able to in various sizes and guises very soon easily), this again proves Apple need to look at their pricing and 'restrictive' regime and THINK a little if they want a bigger chunk of market faster. Though Apple are great at playing the 'elite' game, which makes some feel superior.

Good product, not what it could potentially be, expensive as hell for what it is but anyway back to the deal itself...

Its definitely a BETTER price for the device (difficult to find this cheap) OP good find, just not many people's cup of tea sadly

BTW guys as some one has already mentioned PC's that are years old are still more powerful, then again I say to them THIS ISN'T MEANT TO BE A PC, its an ebook, giant iPod and does those jobs EXCEPTIONALLY well, personally I am gonna get an iPod 4G and be happy with that in 32gb (much cheaper too but smaller screen guys, same resolution though :p
#24
I had a play with the iPad, and thought they were ok - then I got one as a present and now I've used it properly I love it, =)
#25
Forgot to mention, guys please remember what HUKD is about, its giving HEAT for good deals (even if the product isnt for you) not COLD if its a product you wouldn't buy,

Help promote good like for like deals not condemn the expensive products you dislike please!!!!!
#26
Another 2 generations and the ipad will be worth getting, LOL
I think apple will have to pick up the pace with the ipad once proper android tablets start getting released.
#27
Samsung Galaxy pre-order pricing is a joke in comparison to Ipad though.
#28
TBH the lack of AMOLED and the fact it literally is a giant Samsung Galaxy S to me defeats object 4 to 7 inches and a big price tag, I am gonna hold out a little more Galaxy S itself is tempting though

Here are comparison of features not price.

Voted hot, you can't get discount on an iPad anywhere else. Even Apple Edu/Company EPP.

Use MyWi on your iphone, it will make it act as a wifi hotspot. (Assuming you're jailbroke)
#34
Very Cold, An ASUS Eee PC T91 is half the price and does twice as much.
#35
BUT it is a great price for an iPad. There's no point comparing the price of an iPad with that for anything else. Ww all know it's dearer, that's immaterial. Vote cold if you can buy this iPad cheaper somewhere else.
#36
Hot deal...cheapest in the uk for this product

I guarantee nobody who voted cold would be able to find it cheaper

Hot from me, great price.
Great little gadget, I hardly turn the laptop on since getting mine.
#38
I am no Apple fan, and hate Steve Jobs' controlling approach intensely.

I used to think the iPhone was an overpriced, overhyped fashion accessory.

Then I tried one (having used Blackberry and HTC smartphones previously), and it was a revelation. I loved it! It became the best gadget I ever owned.

So, about the iPad, don't knock it until you try it. I bought one and love it, almost as much as my iPhone now :) And yes, of course I own a PC and laptop too. But I use the PC a bit less now, and barely touch the laptop.

Most of those who are anti-iPad are simply that way because they can't spend the £££'s to buy one.

lol, can't afford it, talk about a wind up statement. More like if you buy this then you have more money (or debt) than sense.
I'm no Apple hater either, I've got the iPhone4 sitting in my pocket right now but I just for the life of me can't see a reason to get an iPad. It's too big and heavy to carry around and if I'm in the house I can just use my laptop or desktop. If I really can't be arsed to leave the couch I just use my phone.

Really, what use does this thing have other than "look at me, I've got an iPad".
#40
Yawn !!!!

I've heard it all before: people who don't have one hate it and people who do, love it. Is it worth the money ? If you compare the spec then probably not, but if you compare a 60k car to a 20k one is there any justification for the aditional cost ? Of course not. It boils down to personal preference and whether you're willing to pay for it. I gave up trying to justify buying apple products a long time ago. I like 'em and I'm willing to pay for 'em.

If you want one buy it, if you don't....well....don't !
