We've not had an SSD deal posted in quite some time, and this appears to be ~£10 less than the nearest competition.

As this is the notebook upgrade kit I assume it doesn't come with the 2.5" to 3.5" mounting bracket intended for desktops; not really a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.

Meh. I would spend the extra £10 and get the much faster OCZ 60GB Vertex 2E SSD.

No way of knowing if it'll be a handicapped 25nm drive though? (15% slower & 4GiB less capacity)

SSDs are not anywhere near value for money yet but hopefully they soon will be as prices fall.

not voted either way as this could be a good price compared to other places.

You can also get the Crucial RealSSD for £6 more @ dabs : http://www.dabs.com/products/crucial-64gb-realssd-c300-sata-600-2-5--solid-state-drive-7246.html?refs=4294946247

True. I've been putting off buying one for quite a while. Even with the new generation SSDs now coming out price/GB still seems to be holding too high and we've not seen the increased capacities at better prices yet.

Having said that this is very tempting...must resist!

OCZ Agility Series 60GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive @ £65.99

@ over-clockers! For some reason the link is not allowed?

They are rightly banned- they were posting their own deals.

That is tempting.

Though delivery is £7.25 =/ (unfortunately Newcastle-under-Lyme is too far for store pickup)
I seem to recall there is free delivery for active forum members? like 50 posts per month, or something?

Yeah it is damn tempting. Hopefully we'll see some on a today only deal in the next 7 days as they've excluded them from this week only. Would be perfect for my new HTPC!

Your right, you need to be a fairly dedicated member, or quick spammer and troll!

FREE SHIPPING - for loyal OcUK forum members only

Fair enough if they were posting their own deals! That's not acceptable.
