I would stear clear of these discounted tables, We had one from Argos 12 months ago (exactly the same item) , its now unplayable. The table has warped and if you gently push the white ball along the table with the cue the white ball vears off at an alarming angle. They are not worth the hastle and you will be wasting your money. You have been warned and you will be dissapointed. The only reason we have not returned it is that by the time we have unassembled it and spent the time and fuel getting it back were throwing good after bad.

Seriously Folks, Please Avoid!!

beware they are not the best quality tables had the exact same one ordered took 5 attempts for me to get mine because they were all damaged. its a cheap mdf table great for kids and for someone who doesnt take pool too seriously

pretty much the same comment as the others - you get what you pay for. Mine is also packed away in the garage now lol.

I echo the other 'Buyer Beware' comments.

A table spookily-similar looking to this was being sold by Argos last year. Maybe they have overcome some of the flaws in design:

I bought one and it was more like playing crown green bowling than pool! Plus, the cushes were dead and the balls supplied were smaller than advertised (which made a huge difference).

Take a look at the general consensus in the comments (after people had started receiving these and trying them out)

By the time I got my table replaced Argos seemed to have taken their lumps and were providing a higher quality one; no ball-return but reasonably flat, with reasonable cushes for this price table, and with the correct size balls.

£50 for the amount of fun we've had with it has been great value (bearing in mind the cost of a single console game and how long before the kids want the new latest game!)

So, if you get what you are paying for (a flat table) and aren't expecting anything like the quality of a pool table in a pub, you will probably be happy with it.

I didn't buy this one but I had a similar one from Argos that was on hotdeals 49.99 the premier table which was a great deal. Couple of pointers from me if considering buying.

1. Perhaps maybe not with this as it seems it has folder-able legs but levelling cheap tables is a bit of pot luck and if you don't get it as level as possible you will struggle to get a good game out of it.

2.The balls supplied are generally smaller than the pocket capacity and the cues are extremely light, not the greatest.

3. Because the materials are of cheap build it is hard to play slow sensible shots with spin etc if you know what I mean. The balls do kind of need a good whack and eventually what happens is as the beds made out of mdf it eventually dips and you get a lot of unwanted swerve and movement due to unlevel state.

4. The best thing about the table is it's cheap and it is a lot of fun. I play a lot of pool and snooker and because I can't afford a nice supreme winner table at the moment this is great fun still because I still have great games with family and you get used to the table.

Worth a punt if your'e not pedantic about your game.

Same price at Homebase

A lot of the furniture and other items are the same, think they may be run by same company,Home Retail Group.

Most prices, offers, delivery details and reviews are the same,I noticed this when we bought a table and chairs.
