Or for people who don't want their garden overtaken by a huge 12ft trampoline!

Tesco Stalybridge had one in stock yesterday

Heat added - bought one from Dereham, Norfolk last night. Still marked at £130 on the shelf however asked them to check the price and was £32. Also bought the little tikes slide for £7.50 which was £30 on shelf. Worth checking prices as looks like they aren't being changed on the shelves. Even the staff were surprised at the price.

Hopefully will be ideal for next summer with an 18 month old and 3 year old.

Well the sarcasm in your post is not needed. It was an update to let people know in the same area instead of someone travelling down and none being in stock.

anyone checked in Birmingham?

Yes, it's ideal for those 6ft borrowers. They get everywhere, pesky swines.

Swaggering around with their double twisting, double back-flips, landing on an area the size of a postage stamp.

Still, I have tickets to the 2012 gymnastics so I should see a gold medal in the trampolining if a few of these fly off of the shelves of any Tesco you're lucky enough to find one in.

After moaning at my local store all day and calling customer services directly, My local store has finally agreed to let me have one at the sale price instead of full price of £130 which is was still scanning through till at. They have put one behind counter for me to collect tomorrow so i now have 1 very happy 4 year old girl. Great deal, Just a shame it took me hours to get what everyone else got to start with :(

I think you need to replace the word "garden" with "kids playground". Some of us prefer to use our gardens as defined by the OED...A bit less chav. (_;)

Age limit why?

I think that sherbolton was referring to the age range...Suggested as 6+ for most 12ft trampolines.

If it dominates the ground surrounding your house leaving you with no real garden then I'd have to say yes.

Rude? I guess the emoticon was wasted.

Am I an idiot? I am small minded? I suspect you may be right when you said that some people on are just plain rude on here.

How can a 6ft trampoline dominate? If anyone has got a small garden, say 15ft x 15ft then a 6ft trampoline dominates. In your own circumstances, you will note in my previous comment the IF. Of course, IF you have a 6ft trampoline in a 1/3 acre then it certainly won't dominate and neither would a 12ft trampoline.

Whilst there is no doubt that trampolines are good for all children (disabilities or not) when used properly (i.e. 1 child on a 6ft trampoline and not half the kids in the neighbourhood!) but they very much appear to be a "keep up with the Jones" materialistic product. 10 years ago very few children had them - now, every other child does. Compulsive consumerism. Perhaps have a read of the UNICEF report "Children’s Well-being in UK, Sweden and Spain: The Role of Inequality and Materialism".
