Wow what a price wish my mobo took DDR3.
Its showing as £47.54 for me but the 2% Quidco would just about even it out.
#5
OMG THIS IS MEGA CHEAP!!!
#6
Would this be compatible with a macbook pro?
#7
Brilliant Item at a brilliant price. Shame they're 0.15 volts too high for my computer. Heat added.
#8
Do a Google Product Search and there are quite a few vendors selling this at similar prices. For people using different cashback/discount website, there are different options to choose from.
#9
excellent price
#10
SCORcher!
#11
Nice find. Heat added.
#12
wow - very cheap for 6GB of DDR3 - what's the catch?
#13
Ordered for my new HTPC

You will be incredibly lucky if this is honored! There has been a **** up so the 6GB kit is listed at the 3GB price. All the sites must use the same code to grab prices and auto add percentages as these are shipped from the same central suppliers/warehouse. Lambdatek are terrible for offering products and services which they cannot honour because there is a problem at the warehouses.

Still I have tried my luck for a kit, thanks to the OP, good spot :)
#15
good price, thou went to order two sets, and the delivery jumps upto £25, werid.
#16
Jeeeezuss ...... I've ordered and if this comes off, I will have the OP's babies

PS not telling who I ordered off, as I don't want you lot alerting them. LOL

Yep thats whats happened, will be interesting to see if any of the sites honour it.

The supplier is likely computer 2000 (trade/wholesale only). They are showing 19 in stock for next day delivery @ 36.22 ex VAT. Good chance you will get them BUT I suspect nearly all suppliers will manually check the orders before submitting into computer2000.
#19
All these companies all source from the same distributor, Computer 2000. Their website is showing £35.53 + VAT trade price, which is why all these retailers are similar. If you do a reaitime check on the cost it jumps to over £100. These companies all ship direct from Computer 2000 as opposed to holding their own stock, so I doubt they'll honour the price.

I'll order some anyway, worth a go at this price.
#20
damn that's cheap. sadly my system doesn't use ddr3
#21
criminalben : slightly better discount on your account :-)
#22
At that price if i was looking for 4gb of ram i would buy the 6gb and only use 4gb in dual channel. I think only i7 is tri channel right now.

1600 MHz, CL9, 1.7v; not bad specs if i was looking for cheap ram i would get it.
#23
Looks like it!

Would this be compatible with a macbook pro?

No, laptops (inc. MBP) take DODIMMS. They are a lot shorter.
#25
But then on the other hand, although its the cheapest I've seen recently, in the past DDR3 desktop memory has gone for as little as £10/ GB, so its not amazingly out of this world cheap, but a good deal none the less.
#26
Base price just updated on computer2000 to > £100 like criminalben says so Id guess little to no chance of these being delivered.

Nice find OP. Heat added ^ ^

was in this months customPC but they said it was useless as they dont get that hot anyway thats why theres not loads of WC ram about and there no faster than other memory you can get you would expect super fast speeds with tighter timings but there no better than the Gskill.
#29
Mate works for Crucial (Salesman) and I asked him about this and as mentioned there is a price war starting on Memory.
Companies looking at prices and have decided to bring prices down substantially to nearer the price they were about 3 years ago due to the amount now being produced.
Taiwan seems to be the main developer and distributor here and other countries/companies are following suit.
#31
Bought 2 kits, already have 8gb ddr3 in my rig, but only 1066mhz, so this is a substantial upgrade! In all fairness selling my other 8gb plus the spare unused 4gb will probably break me even too so it's essentially a freebie! Thanks OP hope this is honored.
#33
would buy it but it's never gonna be honoured
#34
surely it'll be honoured when it says was and then is crossed out to show the new price. They only do this when an item has been reduced
#35
Great deal but clearly a misprice. A lot of people could be chasing refunnds tomorrow.
#36
I bought 24 giggs only 2 left now . though

errmmm, doesnt £10/Gb work out at £60.... this kit works out at £7.67/Gb, so about 25% cheaper than you've ever seen?

Too those worried about the 1.7-1.9v rating, I have the same ram and it runs at 1.6v with no problem.
