This is an amazing offer, get 50% back credited to your Cdiscount account on anything in the fashion universe ( INCLUDES clearance items - offer will go live @ 6pm for confirmation). How it works, you pay the full amount today - say a jacket for £30, and Cdiscount will credit your account with £15 by the end of March to spend on their site in the future.

this sounds good, does fasion universe mean any cloths at all ?

Can Cdiscount please clarify what they mean by "may exclude clearance items". I would like to know whether clearance item is included in this offer or not before I purchase. So a firm yes its included or no it is not included for 50% credit back is appreciated.

There is a specific clearance section so I assume anything in there won't apply.

http://www.cdiscount.co.uk/Homeware/clearance/v-748-905.html

EDIT: The direct link went to the homeware section so I thought it was homeware only so maybe ignore that link! There are still specific clearance sections though.

I mean, amibees said "may exclude" instead of "is excluded"...so I am hoping cdiscount adviser can clarify whether clearance is included for credit back or not. The terms of this deal is not quite clear and its not listed on their website.
#5
Where does it mention this on the site? I can't find anything about it,

Sorry slash, that's just my thinking as other offers stated excluding clearance items when they went live. If the homepage states excludes clearance @ 6pm - then we will know, otherwise it should be all clothing products
#7
It will go live @ 6pm tonight - check the site then for full details of the sale. Thank you.

No free delivery
#11
Clearance is definitely included in the offer.
#12
Now seems to include clearence items?

Ive orderd a few times from Cdicount and probably would have orderd a whole lot more if they could be clearer on the terms of their offers. I have even called up for clarity a few times and have been told by staff they "are not sure" .... their customer services are utterly useless infact.

anyway... best deal in a while from these guys! Just a shame it doesent extend to sportsware like it did in Jan.

Sport and Leisure is included.

The freedelivery code is expired now so we have to pay £2 for delivery. Bought a few items...just hope they fit ok hehehe

Sports fashion clothing is included isn't it??

Some of the items (i.e. ski jackets) are in both the clearance + sportwear section - so I would say they are included?

Cdiscount need to make things clearer!
#15
Interestingly, this INCLUDES clearance items.

I like Cdiscount, but actually in many ways get frustrated with the constant chopping and changing of offers - it means that I am constantly buying something in an offer, and 24 hours later I could have got it cheaper/50% cashback/etc.

Also, their returns procedure is appalling, so be warned!
#16
Is there an offer code or something you need to add at checkout?
Or
Is anyone seeing a confirmation that they are going to get a 50% voucher, other than it just saying so on the front page?

someone must have the email where the OP got this offer from - please post it here - thanx
#17
You wont receive any kind of confirmation initially Lam - and no voucher is required. You will get an email later in the month when the cashback is applied.

I ask because I ordered the Adidas top and I had no indication of 50% at all - on site or in the confirmation email - even though its listed and sold under Mens Clothing. ( its shown bottom of the front page under the heading Last MInute Deals )

I was wondering the same thing.

I've ordered stuff coming to £184. If I get all I've ordered for £92 I'll be well chuffed!

I've bought quite a few thing from cdiscount including when the had 50% cashback on diesel jeans. I paid £160 for that order. I've got on my account 5 purchase vouchers of the amount £10 (and you can only use 1 at a time). Is this the way it works? Shouldn't I get £80 credit to spend? Any help is appreciated.
#20
[QUOTE=Slash]Sport and Leisure is included.

Slash - how do you know Sport and Leisure is included ?
I hope it is.

Mr Shed >> thanx for the answer
kknb0800 >> think you should have got more than £50 back on £160 spend. Tad less than £80 because I doubt they credit the Vat too.
#21
You won't see any indication of the 50% credit for any of the eligible clothing items. Just make sure it is a clothing item that you buy and you should be fine.

Don't tell me that, I'd be really peed off. It says cashback not vouchers.

But the OPs post clearly says free delivery but it isn't.

Deek72 - it is DEFINITELY vouchers, not cashback. It is cashback - into your account with them. You cant withdraw it.

I checked that through my account, I haven't yet received an email about receiving cashback, so I'm hoping they sort it out.

I was going to split my order so I don't a £100 credit voucher later on and be forced to use it all once. But then I saw I have to pay £2 for each order delivery so I just ended up buying less stuff hehehe

Wow are you serious! I would really want to know if others get £10 too....... £10 vouchers is just wrong!
#28
Thanks Slash -
Deek >> the OPs post says Credit Back, the site says CashBack - anyone got a copy of the email I guess where the OP found out about this deal? Id like to see it say CashBack and including Sport and Leisure too.

Thanks. I don't mind spending it on their site, but it's not what the other poster said is it, ie £10 discount vouchers to be used one at a time against future orders? I mean will I be able to just go and buy £90s worth of stuff with it?

Oh, you definitely will not get cash back. It says credit back in the thread. You will just get 50% of your purchase spent in voucher(s?) for future purchase.

Edit: oh wow, I'm confused now. cdiscount does say cashback.... so I don't know.... if its cashback, that would be awesome but I doubt it
#31
Hmm, Just checked my account and the 50% cashback from my order in early feb isnt with me yet.

where do I need to check to find the cash back again? Any help apprecaited.

Yes Cdiscount returns policy is god awful as is there customer services.

I recieved the wrong item twice and was told I couldent return it for the correct item, I could only return it for a refund, when I asked them if I just kept the wrong item and paid again and orderd the item could he make sure I get the correct item.... the answer from cdiscount..... NO Id probably get the wrong item again.

be wary. but not TO wary.
#32
I don't mind getting credit, as I use their site a lot, what I mind is that it's in £10 chunks and it's not 50% of my order.

A very familiar tale!

Also, didnt CDiscount state on the last cashback offer that the cashback would be applied late Feb?

Indeed, you can cope with the CS considering the prices and offers. But bear in mind that if your item doesnt fit, you will have to return it and get a refund, so therefore missing out on the offer entirely (this is what happened to me back in Feb!).

Deek - unsure about the voucher thing, sorry - as I say, never got my cashback last time!!! Lol.
#34
PS - just in case anyone is thinking of buying the Evisu jeans, they are nice (wearing mine now!) - but MASSIVE fit - I have ended up getting mine 2 sizes down from my actual size!

Haha same for me this time! Well I can verify their staff are a little on the dim side having spoken to them on a few occasions.

I already have a voucher to use. Does anyone know if I will be credited a further voucher(s) if I use it to pay for this deal? I am sure someone said previously it did but i cant remember.

I've done this before and it worked fine.

So I've spent £180. Will I get a voucher for £90? And will I be able to just spend the voucher on it's own, meaning I don't have to spend so much to be able to use it (I buy £90 of stuff and pay for it with my voucher)?
Hope I make sense!!

If the items are included in the offer, you will get 50% in value back in vouchers - most likely by a month.

Once you do get them, say in your case £90, then in theory you can buy things solely with that voucher BUT the order must be a minimum of the voucher amount, again in your case £90 minimum. There is nothing else to it but basically you do have to use it in one go, so for an order of £87 it wouldn't work but an order of £91 it would.

That's in theory, and how it has worked from my experience but then again sometimes cdiscount can be like playing a lottery, although they do sort things out eventually.

Link to their Voucher T&C's (at the date the post was made): http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3978403&postcount=317

Hope this helps.
