That puts me off too, cause I bet I would be one of the ones that would :D

I've ordered from Focal Price and never received anything - luckily paid with PayPal so I could get a refund. I thought non-UK sites weren't allowed on here anyway?

(There is others that get the same treatment that are generally really poor for consumers - I think the Hut is one of them)

Cheap as chips if you get lucky with customs. However a 2000mAh battery isn't going to give you much run time .

Assuming its coming via HK or China Post, it can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks to arrive from experience.

@fishmaster, surely op means black and white casing and not the screen. I could be wrong though or maybe I misunderstood you.

Aurora II has an IPS screen and is a bit faster. £88 under other sellers http://www.amazon.co.uk/AINOL-TAB-NOVO7-AURORA-II/dp/B008BHJSGQ/
I'm too afraid to buy even that because if it's got dead pixels they probably won't replace it. You only get no quibble returns from actual Amazon or somewhere like Argos or Tesco.

decent enough and a good price whilst it's in the sale :)

I ordered an Ainol Novo 7 Tornados from Focal when this tablet was first posted a few weeks ago - it was £56 (now £50 in the sale) but had a much bigger battery, twice the ram (1gb) and twice the built in memory (8gb) - similar though.

It's great for the money - took exactly two weeks to arrive, no problems. No customs fees etc - they marked it was worth $14.

Not sure where you sourced this gem of information unrandomsam but it's totally untrue. For the record, we allow some none UK based merchants. But before they are allowed HUKD Admin carry out thorough checks to verify the authenticity and safety of the company. Not for reasons of ‘backhanders’ but for member safety.

I've looked into this for you maj2509 and can confirm that your deal was removed as it was a dupliacte of this one. I've checked with the mod who removed it and he still has a copy of the PM that he sent to you explaining why yours was removed.

512mb of Ram isn't enough for ICS to run well - can't remember the figures but the OS will eat a good large chunk of that.

For £10 more - I would recommend this http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/icoo-d50-7-ics-tablet-1-5ghz-a13-1304789

1.5Ghz and double the storage

I had a tablet with exact specifications as this one and i was quite happy with it, especially because it was only 50£. Yes sometimes it can get slow but if you opt out multi tasking from its settings it will run a little better. But once a program is loaded it works fine. As expected tablet will run slow some heavy 3D games but everythins else flashplayer, internet radio, book readers, browsing , messengers etc etc will work fine

ps: i forgot, i broke it. as it always happens with these, internal power plug gives in within first days, then internal USB after a few months. After tryimg to resolder it you can chuck it away for good

If that is the case, why was my deal for a tag for the French motorways removed? It was from one of the till road operators directly - safe and authentic - I was told it was removed because it was a non-UK deal. Is 'safe and authentic' the only criteria used for non-UK?
