Don't count on that with TCB. I can't remember the last time anything of 'worth' actually tracked. Switched back to Quidco a few months back and had a 100% track rate ever since!

EDIT: Also makes me laugh how this gets heat, but bookies/casino offers where you get more cashback than you deposit get voted freezing cold... despite the fact the lottery is a bigger mugs game and harder to get a return!

What does this mean? If I already have a National Lottery account and am a TopCashBack mamber then I can't take this offer?
Or does it just mean that I can only do it once?

If its just for depositing can you not deposit the £10 then withdraw it and still get the cashback?

then £7.50 profit (_;)

In what order do you do this, please? Do you open your Lotto account by visiting the Lotto websie, log out and then deposit £10 through the Topcashback site or do you open your Lotto account AND deposit £10 in one visit through the Topcashback site? Thanks.

Don't think you realise all you have to do is deposit the money, then you can take it out again straight away. :P

Nice to see the lower rate of Stupid Tax being applied for the Christmas period.... £2.65 as opposed to a whole £10

Is that new Lotto online members, or new TopCashBack members like the Amazon deal the other day?

Rarely do the lottery but £10 play for £3 sounds a good deal........ Still wont win though!!! oO

Just reminded me, I haven't checked Saturday's ticket...

Totally off topic..kinda...but ever since ticket prices went from £1 to £2 and the odds of winning supposedly increased -
I'm still yet to win a £25 for 3 numbers :( but I used to get the £10 wins quite frequently when the tickets cost a quid.
Or is it just me?

Think I'll stop doing the lottery now and just get back into premium bonds, at least you can get your "stake" back :)

Er.. is it a con given that they don't exactly guarantee you a payout, like, ever?

It's not just you, it's millions. It's also millions who've won on it. It's also thousands who get pretty lucky. And a rare few who win millions. Although they'll tinker with the rules, and overall it's probably harder to win now, it's still ultimately chance - you can't apply much logic to it, or someone would be gaming the system and winning consistently.

Cue the MSE pundits comments .......

Your chance of winning the jackpot per £1 on the National Lottery is one in 14 million, far outstripping the one in nearly 26 BILLION chance of becoming a millionaire through a Premium Bond

I think your odds of being murdered or struck by lightning are shorter than either!! oO

Gala Casino do £60.60 cashback if you deposit and wager £30. So just split it on Roulette, then withdraw it, then wait for the money. Gala have great reputation for cashback too
#26
If I won the jackpot using this promotional deal. Could the national lottery turn around and bring out a clause to say the offer is invalid for what ever reason ? Reason I ask is because I pay in to a syndicate and don't have a lotto account and i'm considering doing it as it's essentially free money. But I think I would become suicidal if I actually won with the free money and they refused to pay out as it was part of a promo deal.

Nope. Cashback is independant of your purchase of tickets.

I took a punt (it landed right next to the 0). However if you put 80p on the 0 and then split the rest, you're covered and will lose at most 82p, so then you do rely on the Cashback tracking. Similar deal with ladbrokes.

But don't you know? You're not meant to make money on the lottery, not unless you're incredibly lucky.

However if you want to gamble, you'll get better odds on an accumulator on the horses although admittedly the jackpot won't be as large. That said if you do decide to do that, don't get suck into gambling, very easy with the betting shops.
