Guys, I need a Bluetooth Android tablet, something that will run a car diagnostic program, any ideas? I am guessing that you need to spend more for bluetooth

A USB Bluetooth Dongle might work - i dont have one so cant say for sure..

Word of warning do not buy!!! Got one from gizzmo heaven sent straight back screen resolution is pathetic, screen unresponsive, stock rom is awful

Had a 7" tablet with 800x480 res (same spec as this from gizzmo heaven) - terrible. The screen hurt my eyes, you could literally see the pixels xD

Got a 9.7" tab with 1024x720 now, much much better. Wouldn't go anywhere near a small tab with small resolution.

Hi just a question about GPS navigation on tablets, do i need a data plan to use it or is it a part of the hardware on tablets that are capable of GPS and dose it cost anything to use it ?

Interesting - with those resolutions and screen sizes the 7" actually has a higher DPI (133) than the 9.7" (129). The pixels are basically the same size on both. I imagine that ICS is simply better suited to a 1024x720 screen so it looks less pixelated?

    (Calculator http://members.ping.de/~sven/dpi.html if anyone cares)

Cold from me, the specs are terrible, rather pay the extra £10 and get the Novo 7 Elf II for £90

Where from? Can't seem to find one at that price...

Palmano is correct, these 7" 800x480 android tabs actually have slightly better pixel density than the ipad 2.

But then that looks horribly grainy and pixelly to me as well, being used to my phone.

I personally think 1024x600 is the way to go for a 7 inch tab (like the ainol elf or original galaxy tab) , but they do cost a bit more.

    you can't
you can pre-order for £120, which is still a good price for what is going to be a fab wee tablet, but you'll never get it for 90 any time soon

I'm selling my 9.7" IPS 1024x768 1GB 1GHz ICS Android Tablet with 16GB memory for an extra £50!

I don't think this is a good deal - it's NOT 1.23GHZ, it's clearly some variant of the Allwinner/Rockchip CPU. I've done a lot of research before I bought mine, 1GHZ is the max you are going to get (if you want stable operation).

And at a low 800x480 res - this is COLD, got to be nuts to buy this. And the battery is only 3200MAH - mine is 7800MAH, and it lasts all DAY.

I've had the NOVO ELF (paid around £90) - it's pretty good, but the screen just doesn't cut it. There is such a massive difference between the crappy LCD one and a proper IPS LCD scren, watching movies makes it MUCH better.

there absolutely is a big difference, and that tends to be about a 75 - 100% price premium
the Elf is great at what it does for the money it costs, but nobody is ever going to argue that it competes with a 2 or 300 quid IPS tablet
