  I have this tablet, it's not bad for the price. It's slow though, i have it rooted and overclocked some. it struggles and constantly having to free memory to do things. Browsing is alright but isn't really smooth but then again what you expect for price :p

  True, it's a gamble... Many positives, some negatives. You get what you pay for. Extra £5 gets you a bit better battery here, chipset is the same and clock speed so marginal you won't notice. Good find on price, odd that they stock borderline identical kit at focal...

  Specs look very similar in spec to the Versus tablet that Carphone warehouse were doing before xmas for £44.50 (except this only has 4gb, the Versus one being 8gb)
  That one has been great for the money, some apps seem to really slow it down (Skype / Facebook) but otherwise it's useful for many games and vids for my 2 year old.
  It doesn't play GTA Vice city though! Angry Birds and Temple run work smoothly though.

  I'm sorry to say the £36.55 tablet will be nothing like the Versus 7 tablet from CPW, the spec advertised on this £36.55 tablet from abroad will not be true to the components that are actually inside the tablet itself. The build quality and screen etc etc is nowhere near the standard to get a decent android user friendly experience.
  
  Its best to buy here in the UK, try Misco, ebuyer etc if you want a decent low price tablet.............keep watching the deals advertised etc.

  You'll probably find there's only a handful of companies make these components / screens and many of the internals are the same. Most likely they're using graded components which may be more likely to fail or cannot be driven as hard. CPU not good enough for Samsung QA? Stick it in that tub over there, Tai Tablets will buy it to put it in one of their knock offs.
  Personally I'm going to reserve judgement until I see one.

  Doesn't include the single most important bit of information regarding low end tablets: the screen resolution.
