Overview

Extra Value 7" Digital Photo Frame Silver with Speakers and Remote Control

Loads of pictures of your friends on your phone and digital camera? Unlock the fun time by popping your memory card into this funky photo frame. A perfect addition to your bedroom.

You can display single photos, thumbnails or create dynamic slideshows on your desk, in the kitchen, conservatory, or mounted on the wall. See, share and relive those fun memories with high quality, print-like pictures with full colour, high pixel density and adjustable brightness to match your ambient light conditions.
This 7" photo frame is extremely easy to use and you can view digital photos directly from memory cards without the need for a PC.

The rise of the digital photo frame has transformed digital images from being a hidden medium to a live and dynamic performance of our photos. Now you can display not one, but dozens of pictures through a single picture frame. It's considerably easier to use than battling with your printer at home to try and get a decent print, and the end result is far more vibrant and 'alive' than a dull piece of paper.

THanks for this I have just placed my order.

We already have one of these at home and it is brilliant, I have just ordered another 2, one for each of the grandparents.

We are due to emigrate soon and this is an ideal present for the oldies as we just need to send memory cards home.

Heat added:thumbsup:

I have just got to find the oz version of hotdeals and I will be happy.........

It says it supports file sizes up to 4mb. Won't that be too small for video files?
Until then I was figuring might be useful as a tiny video screen
#5
So can you put a DIVX full length film onto a USB stick and watch it through this?
Whats the sound quality like?
Whats the battery life like?
Thanks

LOL the DIVX file I used was 703MB the video quality was brilliant I wouldn't rate it if it was poor quality..
But im sure gizmouk means well but not everybody who can Type have a brain  !! ..

Photo quality is ok Video Quality is great , the sound is loud enough but of a basic quality but it has Headphone socket..
I have just tested it wit a 512mb usb stick and it played a divx but took a lot longer than the Flash SD card to start ..

Im gonna do a picture of it playing my names is earl ..http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3257/2539262095_64c3c8e6cd.jpg?v=0

why would anyone get this? when you can get an mp4 player that does the same thing for the same price and has 4 gigs inbuilt. only diff might be that this is 7" but an mp4 player is portable

seems odd
#16
bit hard for a family to watch a movie on a MP4 player ?...

Its a Photo frame and you can hang it on the wall and change picture with the remote or watch a film .. Hmmm how does your mp4 player look selotaped to a wall ....

Its a bonus that you can watch movies and episodes etc .. ...
So to answer your quest thats why I bought it and I got it for £35 .. y wife loves it but she would have flared her nostrels if I gave here a mp4 player ..

480*234 Pixels is terrible, even at £35, it'd do your photos no justice at all.
#18
can u plug a usb memory stick in and read from that instead of a memory card? thanks
#19
Yes you can I streamed a movie from a USB stick it was a bit slower to start than the Flash memory but the movie ran flawless ..

Well as for the resolution its the same as many Portable DVD players , yes its not the best , but its good enough for photos not like your going to be staring at it for hours at 5" distance ..
