Just got this emailed to me from money supermarket.com. Seems like a good deal. Only have to pay extra for transfers.

Agree my friend was there this year and said it was rubbish
he told me that they went to brighton when they arrived in u.k and it was much nicer.
Also with lastminute offer with transfer flights and seven nights they paid £312 for two person
Cold from me
Went there in 2004 , never again !
We were told there's nothing to do and the food is terrible, while people are rude but we ignored the people, stayed at a brilliant hotel with nice food and did loads of excursions, such as parasailing, snorkling in some of the best seas in the world, crocodile and snake shows, quad biking, semi submarines, smoked shisha, camel rides, stargazing in the dessert and even had a aqua park at our hotel.
What I'm saying is, a holiday is what you make of it.
My parents and in laws have also been on separate occasions and felt the same.
All 3 holidays produced episodes of d&v, all 4 members of our party had it to the point where my b.i.l shat himself.

Stop beating around the bush. Straight question: Do you like tunisia or not?

I have to mostly agree with that. We went last year and rather too many people were rude or unhelpful, the shopkeepers were relentless and the food wasn't all that great. Prices were also relatively expensive compared to Turkey where we've been twice before and enjoyed far more than Tunisia.
If you go with the correct information and attitude it is beautiful, what people tend to do is go naive and then have a shock!
Tunisia is a poor country so sellers are pushy and quite blunt (but not what I would call rude, in fact made some amazing friends out there) but if you learn the Arabic for no thank you ("La Shukran") they will usual not bother you any more, also the water is undrinkable (This includes brushing teeth) if you are careful and use (the very cheap) bottled water available and make sure any water you buy is sealed again no D&V. The food is extremely cheap if you go to traditional restaurants and actually very good.
This is an excellent deal and I am sad I can't take advantage of it, go full of information and you will have a wonderful time. :D
Think I must have gone to a different hotel because it was not very nice, will stick to 5 star Turkey like the last 10 years, always fantastic service and usually 24 food and drink including branded drinks. Whilst I agree a holiday is what you make it 'MOST' of the time , when you get food poisoning it's kinda difficult to enjoy your holiday no matter how much effort you put in to to making it a great holiday ;)

No I don't think its rude at all to harrass holidaymakers as they stroll leisurely down the road , I find it also quite agreable when they grab your 5 year old child and usher them into their shop in order to lure you in to buying something .... superb tactics , maybe we could adopt the same tactics over here in the UK - Oh wait we have trading laws and human rights over here so scrap that idea !!!
Dan
And how long have you worked for them then ?
