Been looking for a cheap accomodation offer within reach of Paris and found this. The parc and amenties are well rated on Tripadvisor and exceptional value per person. Total price is £127.50 for the week, £18 per night and sleeps up to 6.
Not everyone's idea of a luxury holiday but if ur on a budget this is still alot cheaper than a nice parc in the UK. Week we are going, and price based on, is from 9th may.
Ferry crossing £70 (£35 e/w) with P and O for the week if prepared to travel at unsocial times!

Have stayed there, good facilities, especially the indoor pools, but a bit in the middle of nowhere. There is quite a cool pub down the road, but not much else. Plus there's a big factory chimney about a mile away pumping out some smelly fumes!

This is a good price, if you're happy to stay on site, but if you like exploring, I'd try somewhere else.

Sounds like its similar, but cheaper then Centre Parcs.

Any budget airlines fly near this place?

Stayed here on an expedition travelling from north to southern France. This camp site was the highlight, it was definately the best place we stayed during the 10 day trip; the wash rooms and kitchen facilities were awesome, pratically brand spanking new. The heated pool is great and if you have kids there is plenty for them to do. At the same time it is quiet enough for those without kid; the bar on camp is pretty decent as well. I will be going back there this year and this looks like the deal for me.

The accomodation is cramped for 6 people, we have stayed in this type of accomodation with 2 adults and 3 children. The bedroms are very small and have very limited space, the bedroom with bunk beds is nothing more than a broom cupboard. The pitches are well spaced and most have a hedge boundary offering a decent amount of privacy. The site has good facilities and is only a short walk from the local village of Berny-Rivierre, there are one or two nice bars and at least one restaurant. The larger towns of Compeigne and Soissons are situated nearby, and the Champagne cities of Reims and Epernay not more than 30 minutes drive. Disneyland Paris is about an hours drive and Paris can be accessed by driving to Senlis and getting the train into Gare Du Nord. Parc Asterix is also nearby and is a good alternative to Disneyland, but beware it is very French and English is not too widely spoken by the staff.

How far is it from Paris CDG Airport?

It is quite crampt, I stayed with them near Picardy. Its not so crampt its uncomfortable though - and they aren't really designed to spend the day in.

The French could be a bonus to some! I went to Spain recently and everyone spoke English to you. Even if you spoke Spanish to them, they would reply in English!

We went here about 4 years ago, before they added the man made beach. Absolutely top draw. Would love to go back again, and this is an excellent price, but going to Florida in 7 weeks so can't really afford this as well. If you're thinking of booking this my advice would be, just do it. You really will be glad you did. Heat added

We are staying here start of July with Siblu, based on very good reviews. Also the fact that it is pretty near Disney and Paris. Also got tickets for Parc Asterix using Tesco deals!!!.

Good deal........

Hi
Interested to know more about getting train into Paris - could you advise how close Senlis is to campsite?, and how much train was into Paris. Is there free parking at train-station?. Was this a cheaper option than getting camp shuttle bus to Paris?
We are going start of July, reviews all sound good. Many Thanks:thumbsup:

I have stayed here before, with both Canvas and Keycamp, and the site is the nicest I have ever stayed on.

Lots of fantastic facilities, friendly staff, nicely secluded but within walking distance of the village and other restaurants etc.

You can get Ryanair flights into Paris Beauvais too.

I just did a search for August and for a 3 bed was nearly £1200, 2 adults 3 kids, and then there is travel too I guess. Didn't enquire any further.

The factory is a sugar beet factory, you can't see it from the site and we have certainly never smelt it. Site is first class, and every week the site's own coach ran day trips to Paris and Disney. We have stayed there several times but haven't been for a couple of years so can't confirm whether trips are still running.

We have stayed @ this site twice
and going again for oct half term

we self drive ( eurotunnel) and stay here using the SUN £9.50 / £15 holidays

we use it as a cheap base to do Disney,a straightforward hours drive away

lovely site, our 2 boys love it there & can't wait to go back

we take our own bedding as they only supply blankets not duvets lol
and can get quite cold (only a gas fire in lounge area) so we take a small heater to heat the bedrooms

would recommend this site :)

This is a fab campsite. We stayed here last year and would def go again. We had a day a Disneyland (took about an hour to get there) and lots to do roundabout but you would def need a car.
Highly recommend!!!! Great for kids.. Man made beach is lovely, with shallow water for kids to play in, and deeper water for dinghys. Also big fishing lake.
