These are really good quality and worth getting at these prices. Stock soon goes, so get in fast before it is too late - at the moment there are lots of different designs/colours. Use code WSTC1 to save a further 5%. Delivery is £4.95 per order or free for orders over £100. Made from the most wonderfully luxurious 400 thread count Egyptian cotton, this Superior bedding is ultra smooth, exquisitely soft to the thouch and drapes beautifully. Made exclusively for us and finished with a smart single row of embroidery and oxford borders. This is the type of bedlinen that you might find in some fo the world's top hotels. Twice as soft as our 200 thread count bedding and an upgrade from our plain 400 count.
Extra long staple fibres create a cotton fabric that is softer, finer and more lustrous than other cottons whilst also giving you durability.

Bought their 400 Thread Count Cotton denim coloured bed linen that was on offer a few months back. Rather disappointed as it certainly wasn't soft - felt more like sleeping under a canvas tarpaulin. Hopefully these will be better.
#6
h and r again amibees, though I hope the 'hotel quality' is better than the egyptian cotton sheets they sent a month or two back - quite thin and disappointing.
fingers crossed!

Some good deals, but coudln't get the code to work.

The two experiences of the quality here seems to be poor. Anyone else got anything from them. Almost seems as though they're inflating their prices and then reducing them.

I first purchased from them 4 years ago. At first they were very good quality but then about 3 years ago I had orders totalling over £300 and 80%+ were clearly seconds. Where you had a pattern running in the fabric it didnt line up with the sewing constantly, lots of loose threads, etc. I was either told to pay for postage for the very heavy multiple boxes and they would look at refunding (it would mean 4 trips to the post office and a lot of heavy carrying), or return them to them. I did, paid the congestion charge, and didn't even get an apology.

I haven't purchased anything further, which is a shame as the initial few orders were very good quality and I made a flurry of orders for family and friends. They then wanted more, and I looked bad handing over 'seconds'. Luckily I was alerted to this quality issue before I took sets to family abroad.

If they were upto the initial quality I would definately recommend them, they stay wonderfully white and I love the crispness. However, I have no guarantee on quality and it's not worth the hassle of returning stuff.

You might well be right (link here)!

"Offer Code: IND283. This Wallace Sacks offer code will get you 60% off 350 Egyptian Cotton Sateen Stripe Bedding collection. Issued in The Independent Newspaper 28.3.10. Valid until 30.4.10"

Yet I am tempted by this, which I'd hate but my pussy would adore!

I clicked 'Expire' on this deal because the code did not work. Can someone cancel it?
Sorry OP.

Bought some of this when they had their last sale, it is excellent quality and certainly worth the money

i have ordered now 4 times from wallace sacks, their quality is not an issue. they clearly label any inferior/damaged products as seconds. i purchased one of these products labelled as a second and all i had to do was take a pair of scissors to loose threads, was a 5 minute job checking it all over and cutting them off.

the bed linen is extremely soft and kind to your skin, i only bought egyptian cotton everything. check their prices with other stores and you will see they are cheaper by a mile. i can highly recommend them.

products also come very well packaged.
#14
I'm glad they label seconds now as they certainly didn't before.

I ordered last time there was a sale on & I can't see what all the fuss is about. The stuff is ok at sale price but nothing special. Please be aware "Goods are returned to Wallace Sacks at your own expense", as I found out when I had to return a duvet cover with shoddy seamwork and a 2 inch tear. Bedding sets are expensive to post back! The fact that they wouldn't refund me for a faulty item put them on my avoid list.

yes i think this is why they now clearly label them as seconds, because before they did get complaints. so if you dont want to take a risk, make sure you dont buy any products which clearly state seconds on them

None of the discount codes seem to work - the two posted here, and that on TopCashBack. As I was shopping, things kept going out of stock in my basket, so I checked out without getting any of the codes to work.
#18
If you buy from them, remember:

Take a print screen of what code you have used as last time, my free delivery code was removed, and I had to complain to get it back. I trawled the site to 2am to get the best out of the £7.50 code and it was not there when I saw the invoice.

Open all the things to check if they are seconds - we used another duvet set a month afterwards and it has a pinkish blob, some thread missing and after a wash, bubbles appear on a 400 thread count duvet set.

Buyers beware
They do also turn up cheaply in TK Maxx. Similar price in there to the sale prices but at least easy to take back if faulty. I bought mine this way and it is lovely - Wallace Sacks 400 count duvert cover and cases for £15/20 in TK.

296!!! I almost slept on that! 296 is sand paper as far as I'm concerned!

I'd avoid this place, have bought from them several times, have had seconds sent out when not advertised as seconds, they inflate their prices and have no customer service whatsoever, took nearly 3 months to get a refund from them. You can get similar Egyptian Cotton sheets (400 thread, which these actually aren't they're 200 x2) cheaper without any discount.
#22
Didn't order those ones but did order the organic cotton sheet sets which were £15 for single size for daughter who suffers with eczema. Seemed good price and good reviews - fingers crossed!

bedding is better sampled In Real Life.

Cold from me. I purchased some 400TC last month. Compared them to some 350TC bought elsewhere by looking at a light through them and they were noticeably thinner so definitely not 400TC and not soft. They went straight back. So I would say BEWARE and AVOID!

I drove to their offices to return them as it's not that far from me and found it was a scummy warehouse at the top of a dirty old building!

I thoroughly examined their webshite and couldn't find an actual address. As a matter of interest, whereabouts are they, exactly?

I'm working on the basis that their address is the same as that for their returns, policy below;

* There is no need to telephone us when sending a return.
* Fill out the Returns form enclosed with your order noting whether you would like an exchange or a refund. Please address the parcel to: Wallace Sacks Returns Dept, 4th Floor, Chandelier Building,8 Scrubs Lane, London, NW10 6RB.
* Please take your parcel(s) to your nearest post office. We recommend that you send returns by recorded post. Always retain proof of postage. Goods are returned to Wallace Sacks at your own expense.

Their website is registered at that address so I assume it's correct.

I'll report back on the quality of this 'luxury hotel count' deal, it was despatched yesterday.
Hope that helps.

Arrived today, average quality - made me wonder what sort of 'luxury' hotel they stay at!
Not really impressed, though it's not really worth the postage costs back to them either, will probably use in the guest bedroom.
Certainly won't buy again.

Yep, thats the address, and yes, thats the same experience as I had, and no apology or sorry for the £100s of seconds I was sold
