Scan are always punting this PSU off at that price ...it's even been £28.19 at one point ...

I found several threads for it all at the £35.19 price .....so i reckon they inflate the price to make it look like a deal every few months.

Plus Scan rip-off folk for delivery that don't post **** in the AVForums just to get free delivery.....cold.

Bought one about a month ago after waiting for the price to come back down to about this price.

When I received my PSU I noticed that there was a dent on the bottom (quite thick/tough steel, so must have been hit or dropped quite hard). The PSU was wrapped really well so it must have happened before despatch.

The only problem is I didn't read my despacth email as my pc wasn't set up. The email states that you must inform them of any faults with 48hrs. I still haven't gotten round to testing it though.

The pound has gone down in value and since scans pricing system is realtime then price rises affect it immediatly(and vice versa) So its not their fault its gone up really, they are on small profit margins already.

Best place is hexus.net since they are part of the forum, great support.

Good price still but you can get a better power supply which is the corsair 400w or something like that for £37~ and its higher standard, before you say it more wattage doesnt mean better. Its a good budget PSU so voted hot.

its still a good price for a quality psu. it was voted hot in the thread above but freezing here.:?
even ebuyer charge for delivery so if you can get it free, thats a bonus.

HUKD members generally compare with a price that has been lower in the past (as Mecoconuts mentioned), & vote accordingly - why wouldn't they? Moreover, PC components generally fall in price, & not the other way around, which has happened here.

Doesn't state the amperage on the 5 volt or 12 volt rails. So nobody can really say how much power each rail can provide.
