72 felix pouches for £12.00 at Asda

First post, please point out where I go wrong (I'm sure you will!)

6 x 12 pack of felix cat food pouches for £12 in Asda (Shaw, Oldham) tonight. Limited to 3 packs per customer. £2 for 12 sachets not at all bad, but seems to be only the fish flavours. My cats Dorothy and James only eat the fish, so they're well chuffed!

Not sure if online, not sure of end date, sorry.

Which ones is it? Roasted? As Good As It Looks? Or just the bog-standard stuff?

Just the bog standard stuff.

My cat says he's disappointed now.

Can't see the offer online, nearest is 3x12 for £7.00, so that's 72 for £14, still not a bad deal. There are meaty flavours to choose from on this deal too.

The OP link points to Asda entertainement.

felix is cat food, it's for cats who cares what % meat is in it, as long as my cat eats it, enjoys it and is healthy i don't see the problem??
#9
Well I care what I feed my cats. If I buy them chicken and gravy I want to make sure it contains at lesst 50% chicken breast and not 4% chicken derivatives (feet, tongue, bumhole)

yeah because they know the difference don't they :?
#11
They don't know the difference but the poor quality in meat leads to many health problems for cats in later life.

Cat food is ok but you should give your cat 'real' meat as well, even ASDA smart price minced beef is £1 for 500g. My kitties love it and tuna and chicken.

I give my cats a mix of Whiskers (which is the same kind of thing as Felix I should imagine) and real meat :)

My mum's cat is going strong at 18 on this kind of diet :)
#12
Great deal Nixx Thanks! Heat & Rep added!
#13
This is the same deal as they have just done.Finished last week.24 pouches for £4.00.But at least you didn't have to buy as many for as much :?

How do you cook the smart price minced beef for the cat?
#16
If you use pouches regularly then yes this is a good deal.
However pouches are 100g in weight and a tin is 400g, therefore 72 pouches = 18 tins.
2 x 12 pack of felix tins would cost less, plus you would get more variety and better value for money.
Voted cold, sorry
#17
that smart price mince will be so healthy for your cat ..... do you realise the meat/fat content that will be in that anyway!?!

I wouldn't eat it myself so also wouldn't give it to my cats. Agree with giving them tuna though once a week or so!

My cat is now 16yrs, she is thin & healthy as a kitten, and she eats just about anything we give her!!! Rarely meat pouches, and certainly not packaged meat!

She also loves to eat out Popcorn, crisps & the odd Malteser!

Great price... I'm sure your neighbours will love seeing this stuff littering their flower beds once it has passed though your cats.

I might actually grab some myself and lace it with rat poison in an attempt to eradicate the trespassers.

Such harmony with Nature! Will you be running over hedgehogs and throwing stones at birds too? ;-)

Wait, what? Aren't you supposed to vote on whether this is a good bargain or not? For you, yes, if the OP had posted it and FORCED you to buy it, it would indeed have been a waste of money for you. That would deserve a 'cold' rating.

But what has actually happened is that some information which was irrelevant to you was posted; hence you should skip over it. It's not hot, because you don't need it; but that doesn't mean it's a bad deal. If the OP had posted "OMFG CAT FUD £93 A POUCH BARGIN RITE" then yes, click cold.

On track; I like the sound of this deal! My cat eats like a horse and as I prefer to feed him things which are formulated for him (rather than tatty old mince) I might well buy some! Thanks.

My cat caught a bird the other day, eat pretty much all of it, wings, beak, bumhole....if my cat chooses to eat bumhole then my cat can flipping well have bumhole :p

Note to Felix - Please add a new flavour to your range - Sparrow in bum juice, my cat will be very happy

So long as you vary their diet from time to time there is nothing wrong with feeding them on Felix...try a little tuna flakes, proper chicken and of course biscuits and make your cat a happy one!

That remark just shows that you don't understand how HUKDs works. I don't use Pampers and I am not a baby but I will still vote a Pampers deal hot if the price is right. It has NOTHING to do with your personal circumstances - only if the deal is good value or not!

Pull yer neck in. I can enjoy a laugh with the best of them but your remark is liable to lead to hordes of idiots voting cold because an item is od no use to THEM personally. HUKDs is littered with those. :whistling:
