Was just about to post this, there was plenty left in the Didcot store but it was going fast, I doubt it will last the afternoon.
#4
Is it still BOGOF? If not then not a great deal.
#5
I got a triple pack of single ingnition fireworks for £20 reduced from £80. They were never BOGOF and look amazing.
#6
Got the £10 box for £2.50 this afternoon and the big sparklers for 37p instead of £1.50. Loads in stock in Rustington sussex, if that way.
#7
None left at my local :(

Wonder how many will just be stored in a cupboard some where. Take care people and seriously why buy from supermarket for next year. Just goto ie epic.
#12
Don't go too mad there are laws on firework storage you can only store so much NEC before you need a licence any 1.3G items you can only store for 3 days but I doubt supermarkets sell those but do check

It's not the risk of them not going off that you should be worried about!

i brought 2 packs of saracens rockets (24 rockets) and a packet of goliaths tube shooters (9 tubes) for £18 instead of £75 from the sainsburys store in the merry hill centre (dudley, west midlands) this afternoon, they seemed to have a cupboard full of stuff left..

Edited By: sweetheart592000 on Nov 07, 2010 19:16: 9 tubes instead of 10

If fireworks have been around for a long time then they won't be as safe as the more modern day ones to be careful if you're then lighting them, for example if the cardboard tube has perished rather than the effect going UP it could burst out sideways.

Epic, The Firewrok Store, Firework Crazy etc are all much better than visiting the supermarket and you can see a video of what ever you buy before you buy it so you know if it's worth having or not

Still some big packs in Sainsbury's Bridgend :)

I got lots of sparklers for 12p a pack, also a little box of standard fireworks for £2.50. Just had a nice cheap little display in the garden!

We bought a small box this morning - £5, noise level 1. Just right for my scaredy 3 and 4 year olds! Wish I'd bought another box for Christmas

I bought up loads today... already had various ones from here and other stores. I seem to be forever buying them at the moment! Massive party at the weekend now!

Does anyone have any links to videos of these buys?

Downside: Every birthday, anniversary and party is going to be accompanied by random letting off of fireworks at all hours of the day and night in the chavvier parts of the country.

Upside: Sainsburys overstocked this year so hopefully will order less for next year. An added bonus is that various clowns will be storing fireworks (i.e. explosives) in their houses. They won't even think to keep them in a steel container and won't lock them away to stop their kids playing with them. Therefore we may see some real world examples of Darwinian evolution thanks to Sainsburys.
