OK a bit of a heads up on this one and any bargains will be store specific

As of 30/12/14 Waitrose will reduce certain Christmas lines to 75% off original price

This should include all Christmas gift items

Certain food items (but not chilled items) and will not include Christmas crisps and snack items

As an example the McVitie's Victoria Christmas biscuit selection - a double pack at 700g will fall to just £1

Currently showing as £4 at Ocado, Asda & Sainsbury's and £5 at Tesco according to mysupermarket

With all these Christmas deals it will be store specific so let us know what you find

LOL - Waitrose started at 50% off Christmas lines - this is a heads up that it will now drop to 75% - it's not the stock that is going out of date soon that are manually reduced - no 2p bags of parsnips and potatoes here that can only be found at a branch in Scunthorpe

But - as I say it will be store specific - I think the Thorntons Chocolate Santa's, Dogs etc will drop to £1.25 and be good for a little while longer - Easter is early this year ?

Is this as in now, or from 9? As I sure can't find much online. And they only do home delivery for ^ £50, click and collect is ^ £40....?
In fact sorry - £60 min spend for home delivery!
Unlikely to be online but should be from when your local store opens

Cheers op
Thanks a lot for this
Thanks for the heads up - got loads of bits at my local!
Thanks for prompt OP.
Milton Keynes branch still loads of biscuits and chocs at 75% off this morning = bargains
(though a handful of full price items mixed in with them, hopefully NOT with intent to fool bargain hunters into believing the SEL is out of date, which it wasn't on two items checked!).
200g Lindt lindor 'winter' and 'stracciatella' were £1.12, santa's and bear's were 75p,
Waitrose belgian chocs were £1 for 330g box
Thorntons snowman £1.25
Waitrose chocolate robin£1.25

Lots more stuff with quite long dates and very cheap, I filled my trolley, just have to remember not to eat them all at once.

Heat added
Love Waitrose for their fresh bargains.... I got some beautiful topside for £5/kg; I always get their sausages when reduced (especially seeing as the 2 for £5 deal applies no matter what they are reduced to). Always worth getting to know when they reduce and strolling through... Another top tip - if the hams on the deli look likely to be down near 200g, ask politely and they will give it to you for 49p/100g (classed as knuckle ends). They will slice it for you as well. :)

One more "tip" - get your fresh bread on a Sunday because they reduce it early in the day (around 3pm) when it's still fresh as opposed to end of day on weekdays and Sat.

Staines store-Thorntons chocolate snow balls 25p, small bag 'Robins' mini chocolates 31p, Lindt small rabbit? 12p, 60p large chocolate snowman-medium-large and other chocs.

Managed to bag a few bits.
Bought 8 boxes at Hythe Southampton....Lots left this afternoon
,Also cards wrapping paper xmas cake chocolates etc...some items 90% off.
Love Waitrose...don't forget to use your Waitrose card and get a free tea ot coffee.(_;)
MK store update: Xmas aisle now 90% occupied by bulky bedding items with just a drib/drab of Xmas left - mostly Italian Pralines at £1.50 (were £6).
Heads up again - as of Friday stores will be able to manually reduce stock to get rid - if your local has much Christmas stock left it could be interesting. Should start to see reductions in Christmas crisps and snacks.

This will be store specific and dependant on what's left !
