I'd guess you put it in a bay above - or below - the drive.

I just ordered and got free delivery without needing to add anything to take it over £50 ex vat.

you'll probably get the order cancelled then i guess.

I didn't realise they've increased the limit to £50. However, I am already at stage 2, payment authorised and it looks like they've only taken £57.56.

Link now working.

Thanks for the update as I didn’t realise that they’d increased the amount so it’s saved me from putting in a £25 order and risk loosing the freebie; rep on its way. I wish they’d just automatically enable or disable free postage depending on the order amount.

What’s the limit with the Hexus free postage for Scan, is it the same?

Great price, voted hot.

It's £65.55 inc. VAT for me.
#14
typical, bought 3 of these from ebuyer for 65 notes only two days ago, only just taken them out the wrapping :(
#15
I am short by only £1.01 so hopefully my order will go through.

Send them back, it's fairly cheap to mail 3 hard drives.

Are you registered with AV forums for the free delivery?

I just added to basket and it's £57.56, with free carraige.

you did visit the links above?

Also, I'm showing free delivery no matter how little I order.
Maybe the limit is for new members only?
banned#20
apparently that always shows - if you want an order less than the minimum figure - you need to ring up the order - otherwise it could be cancelled

my last one was cancelled when i was under value (my error)
#21
Just gone through AVForums & still £65.55.
#22
Got it now, clicked through on "Today Only".

just received this:):)
Dear customer

Just so you are aware the minimum spend to get free carriage on AVforums has been increased please read the link below:

http://www.avforums.com/forums/scan_offer.php

As it was within £2 we have let it though on this occasion, please note that we will becoming more strict on this in the future.

Regards

Andrew

Looks like you're lucky this time... but certainly looks like they're keeping an eye on people abusing it

Cracking deal - heat and rep added
#27
Ordered with the Wii remote from yesterday (which they cancelled).
#28
cheap as chips, great drives too

HOT. I just paid £45 for the 500GB version (arrived today). Not complaining though as I'd probably still have gone for the 500GB as I simply won't use anywhere near that space. I have a 120GB 2.5" drive now and have had for a long time.
#30
Great price, also £90.46 for the 1Tb F1.

Heat added.

Its showing £65.19 with Carriage £6.49 !

Try following the same links everyone else has on the top of the page....

So tempted but if my dell order goes through for the 2 250GB drives for £35 i think then wont need it!
#35
awesome, i bought 2 not too long ago for £65 or so..... and bought another today, i was thinking of going for a 1TB but the price/GB of this is just fantastic.

should bring me up to 3.75TB of storage.

Also, if people are having trouble with the avforums free delivery, then you could try hexus.net instead. They have recently changed to so you dont need to be an active forum member, you only have to sign up, and also its £20 minimum excluding VAT. which is a bit lower than the £50 some people are saying is now the case with avforums.

Seriously hot! I want to order one, but AVforums are saying;

"Unfortunately you have 3 posts, so please make 27 more useful posts on AVForums to qualify for the SCAN & AVForums loyalty programme"

Hmm, they're only quoting the need for 5 posts on the site - http://www.avforums.com/forums/scan_offer.php

awesome price.. wishing id held off on grabbing my 1TB at £95 and got 2 of these instead

amazing cost per GB

with how quickly prices are fallind id say wait til you need them before ordering

no point in stockpiliing drives which then drop in price

very tempted to replace my 500GB WD boot drive with one
#40
Wow, this is hot. I thought the 1TB drive deal about a week ago was hot!
