750GB Firewire/USB Hard Drive £59.95 @ Apple Store
External portable hard drive, on Amazon this costs £120 and I can't find it near this price anywhere else, model with Firewire 800 which usually costs a load more over the USB model

I don't know anyone who still uses firewire, bar a few old video cameras.
I'm personally a Mac user, so limited to USB2/Firewire/Thunderbolt. USB 2 is pretty slow in comparison to FW800 (and Thunderbolt drives are ridiculously expensive), so they are still quite popular, but usually a premium above USB drives. For users who have USB 3 compatible products then the drive on eBuyer is a bargain, but for anyone who needs (specifically) a drive with Firewire then as far as I know this is about as cheap as it gets.
agreed - just got mine today and connected to my iMac27" using TIme Machine - i like it !
