£50.37 including VAT and DELIVERY.

These have to be included. The price should be the delivered price

Nope, too big, you need a 2.5" drive buddy
#4
how about adding the vat and post to it
#5
Because I am assuming the price will come on the weekend. There was no mention of vat on the email ... even so I cant see a 36 pound 750 GB on their site so assuming this is a weekend special...
#6
This looks good, not so good if it's £50 quid delivered though.
#7
Aria quote delivery as ex vat so the total comes to £51.59 delivered
#9
Only 20 in stock. I live quite close, but can not be bothered going over as they will all have gone by the time I get there.

D'oh! And another good reason for not going down is that they are web-only!

So is this good for £50 or not, I need a new hard drive.

the + after the price means plus VAT

isnt it illegal for them to quote prices ex vat unless their primary customers are vat registered businesses ?

The email lists prices both exc vat and inc vat.

Price is £51.59 delivered as the £6.95 delivery charge excludes VAT. This is still a brilliant price though. I bought this a few weeks ago when it was £55 delivered, which was still an excellent deal.

Btw, they have said 20 (or 20+ ?) in stock all along. Just checked now tho and says only 4 left!

They also sell some cheap but good quality usb sticks here with lifetime warranties, e.g. 2gb for just £1.17! So you might as well add at least one of those to your order too.

If you think you can get a better price/Gb for a hard disk delivered from anywhere else then let us know! (I doubt you can!)

anyone know if this would fit into a slim-line bay? trying to get an upgrade for my small form dell optiplex 745

thanks!!

All HD's Under the 1 TB are now dropping in Price...

Your best bet is to wait a further month and u will see them all drop to 50 Quid delivered for anything under 1TB. 1 TB seems to be the Way to go now, so hold off and get yourself a proper BARGAIN. I would flog your 500 gig or lower now, and get some sort of CASH back for it while u can, and then upgrade to the 1 TB for a Nice tidy Sum. or upgrade to the 500-750 gig if u have a smaller HD.

Flee Bay will be crawling with them soon, as peeps sell them on ;-)

The Seagate's noisier & not as fast, though there obviously isn't a huge amount in it,and I'd say this is a reasonable price.

There have apparently been a few reliability issues reported with the Samsung, but I've never had a single problem with 'em.

The Samsung has a 32MB cache compared with only 8MB on the Seagate, so you might notice a speed difference on various tasks depending upon what you do.

I have the Samsung in a Dell and you can hear it spinning as it seeks. Not loud enough to be annoying, though.

Full height HD's fit in the 745 fine. The stock model is a slim drive but a full height model definitely fits in the SFF (I'm not sure about the Ultra Small FF though).
